Tolteck is $51 a night since they are changing to some major chain... forgot who. Motel 6 is $30 but a bout 12 miles away Days Inn about $50 I called Desert Sky but got no answer so I've not made any sleeping arrangements yet. Check Travelocity.com or expedia.com or cheaptickets.com or any of several other fare watchers. I can tell you now that flights seem to be filling up fairly fast so start looking now. If I rent a car it will have the entire week as there is nowhere close to return it and they charge tons for one way rental. BB said she didn't think the shuttle was running on Christmas so there really is no other way to get there. I'm sure I can find some reason to see some of the sights.... Some people will just never understand. Condolences are to express your loss whether you knew the person personally or not they were still part of the skydiving family. I would hope that our expressing condolences are mostly heartfelt gestures of acceptance ( it is a way to validate what has happened). Some people obviously don't understand that as such.
