A beautiful red 66 mustang. I loved that car...AM radio and all. She caused me quite a few trips downtown to call my dad...something about a speed limit. Thankfully the officers all knew my dad so I just got chewed on instead of a ticket. My dad sold it for that reason. The chick that bought it flipped it a week after she bought it. It was sweet...a 1966 red with black interior. I realy didn't know what I had until later when my Dad sold it cause I had a lead foot. Good thing I'm from a small town where my Dad knew all the cops so at least I got away with speeding even if I did get caught. She wasn't a convertable but I have recently had a convertable one and loved it. When my daughter inherits my Highlander I am getting another one even though I hate to see old people in a convertable....at least I won't be seeing myself so oh well! -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

What some of you children don't understand is that my collection is not only old albums but I have a big stash of 8 tracks. I too have the GREASE and SAT NIGHT FEVER 8 track. I also have old Elvis and other 45's from the 60's. Then there is the DAZ BAND, JOURNEY, and other stuff I would never admit to listening to ...they were just in the collection! Funny thing is we are using our old collections of music for my ...year reunion, and nobody has an 8 track player that works. Guess we'll have to use some of the newer stuff that is on cassette! Fess up....how many of you have never listened to music on an 8 track???? I remember being hot stuff when my Dad had an FM adapter put on my mustang when I was 16. Before then it was AM baby. OMG....I am going to get in so much trouble cause I simply can't stop laughing. My kids keep asking what is SOOOOO funny. Now you try and explain this! Anyway, I agree with Skymama.... I'm not going to be doing one simply because if I mentioned it someone would pay me not to. Some things are better left hidden. We had a load about a month ago do one complete with video and stills. We are having a time of silence followed by the pledge at our school. I think it's good for the kids to have a chance to remember this too, because they were in the rooms watching and questioning a year ago. Many of their questions were never answered because we have no answers as to how it could happen here. I plan on wearing my American Airlines uniform in honor of the flight attendants that were killed. It seems fitting...... No matter what you do to show your respect...do something. I probably can't find it as I'm not very good with searching for stuff, but I remember it. It was when Michele was killed in Fentress, TX and a friend sent me the link. We were in GA and were getting very little information, so lots of great people who were out there kept us informed. I have even had the chance to make some new friends because of that.
