1992 USMA Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. I liked planes and building things. The starting pay looked good and the job sounded interesting. BTW...I've never worked in that field. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I just ran across this video. It is a jihad video by a British Muslim rapper named Sheikh Terra featuring the Soul Salah Crew. The song is called "Dirty Kuffar". Kuffar in Arabic means "non-believer". Some Muslims believes this refers to anyone not of the "book" ie the Bible, the Torah, and the Qoran. Others believe it is any non-Muslim. The more radical believe it is anyone that doesn't hold their radical beliefs, including other Muslims. The video is entertaining in a ghoulish sort of way.

YES! It's back. Finally. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

The group you are quoting as endorsing Bush also took credit for the blackouts in the US and the UK last year. Not sure if I would take them too seriously. Here's a serious Kerry endorsement: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,114568,00.html "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

What possible motive could a group have that would convince them to pursue that goal? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

LOL, that is from JRTC in Fort Polk, LA. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

And you believe that it should be applied to prisoners during a time of war? Wow! I'm going to become a lawyer and instigate the next war. I'll be rich representing all of the prisoners! "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

The fact that you have committed a crime does not mean you will be found guilty. We release people daily from our jails that committed the crime but against whom we didn't have enough evidence to prove they did the crime. It takes a lot more evidence to convict someone of a crime than it does to arrest them. They still have a tremendous amount of information to provide us. Lots of people have information about crimes and criminals, and are unwilling to provide that information, that may not have committed crimes themselves. We needed that information and we were at war with the people we needed it from. There are lots of possibilities. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Have you somehow determined that we didn't get important information from the detainees that were released? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Why not? Why can't we have security in place without "solid evidence"? That doesn't make good sense to me. I was always taught to put yourself in your enemie's position and plan an attack, and possible attacks, against yourself. Then plan your security to defeat those attacks. If we waited for solid evidence then we would have a very reactive defensive plan, if we had time to formulate one at all. Letting your enemy have the initiative and reacting to his plans is a losing proposition. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

Well, that and I would also like to be able to lock up people I don't like. Come do my job for a few days. You'll be surprised at how little of this rhetoric you and the liberals keep spouting is true. Yeah, I hate that damned constitution. It keeps getting in the way of all of my plans. What lawyers represented the "enemy combatants" in WWII, or Korea, or Vietnam? I'm confused. When weighing a terrorists freedom vs a law abiding citizens life? I vote the terrorist loses his freedom. I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were incarcerated. I know the name of a good lawyer. Want his number? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

To me it says that terrorism works. Expect a large attack, or attempted attack, in the US before the next presidential election. They've seen their method work and will try it again. Just like Somalia made them believe that we would run after they inflicted a few casualties on our soldiers. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I wish I lived in your world. It would make my job a lot easier. I mean I wouldn't have to do all of this investigation and evidence crap. The arrests are the most fun anyway. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

OK, sit down before you read this. This is going to be very traumatic. Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Faery.........................don't exist. You're parents were supposed to tell you this. Sorry I had to be the one to break it to you. If someone breaks into your house uninvited it is probably a safe assumption they are not bearing gifts, eggs, or change for your lost teeth. AirBornAgain Online: Skydiving Fugitive on AMW

Do you know if he is a licensed skydiver or made a few tandems or is still a student? This guy drinks Bud Ice? That should be enough to throw him in jail now! -
Although I replied to your post, my comments were not aimed at you. They were generic, low cal, and politically correct. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

I would be careful with this statement. A person can still be a threat to you even if he has his back turned to you. For example, the person is moving to a covered position to shoot you from or he may be shooting while running away. It is probably better to say don't shoot if you don't feel threatened by the person. If you feel threatened and there are no other feasible options then shoot. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

It is actually really hard to make these shots even if you do shoot all of the time. In a life or death situation (high stress), trained LEOs only hit the individual they are shooting at 1 out of every 5 shots with a pistol. That is shooting center mass. IOW we are lucky to hit the person at all much less try for his/her leg which will most likely not stop him/her from coming after you anyway. Anybody know Jerry Barnhart? He is an IPSC competition shooter. You can visit his site here http://www.jerrybarnhart.com/ He has won several championships in IPSC shooting. I don't think anyone on this board can out shoot him (I know for sure that I can't). Anyway, he came down and trained the SWAT team I am on for four days in December. Guess where he trains to shoot if placed in a threatening situation. Center of Mass or in the head if they have body armor. If he doesn't believe that he can make that shot in a stressful situation then I know that I can't. If you think that you can make a leg shot (actually 3-4 if you want to stop them) during a stressfull situation I would suggest you re-evaluate. Hollywood doesn't make a great training tool. You're right! Anyone who disagrees with the liberal agenda is either a homophobe, a racist, a Nazi, a bigot, a chauvenist, a religious fanatic, uneducated, or doesn't have an open mind. We can't tolerate these types in our society! Vote Democrat! "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

So . . . lemme get this straight . . . we're GOING to be doing this?

Nothing that has been posted on here is classified. No one has given out current operational plans or talked about specific capabilities of any classified systems. You can get most of this information from open sources. For example: http://www.keyserkill.com/Wp102_Spring_2003/JSTARS-normalized-subs.doc http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/an-pps-5.htm http://www.fas.org/spp/military/program/track/spasur_at.htm http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/1557140.stm Leaking classified information is a fairly serious charge. Would you care to be a little more specific on what you believe shouldn't have been talked about or who said it? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin -
I'm not an anti-gun advocate, by any stretch of the imagination, but I do see one similarity. The laws of one state are effecting (or affecting, I can never remember the difference) another state. In Missouri they are recognizing another states concealed carry law (at their own discretion). They are probably doing this because they can't get a concealed carry law to pass in their own state. Florida, for example, will have to recognize gay marriages conducted in California. IOW, in each instance people are getting around a law in their own state by getting licenses in a state with more liberal laws. That is about where the similarities end. I'll bet $1,000 now that if Florida tries to not recognize gay marriages conducted in California (if they finally become legal) it will go to the Supreme Court (courtesy of the ACLU) and they will be forced to recognize them. Any takers? "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

States have different requirements for marriage and driver's licenses too. Do you know when this ruling was made and by what court? I would like to see how they explained it. I would like to see how they explained away this article. "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Ben Franklin

That's because it hasn't been challenged hard enough yet. If someone really fought the issue they could probably win it based on this part of the constitution: That is why states have to recognize marriages and driver's licenses issued from other states. Most states have laws limiting this recognition. I'm not sure if it has been challenged in court though. The fines are usually so small when the law is broken that no one bothers with it.
