  1. Yes, the US teams got prize money at the Malevsky meet.
  2. I'm having some trouble with the website, but after 5 rounds Airspeed is in first, Fastrax 8 pts behind in second, Sky Panthers 2 pts behind them in third.
  3. I believe the intention is to be able to land this flag eventually - Ditch lands the 3500 sq ft one, but this was his first jump with the 7800. The 7800 is heavy enough (~250 lbs) that it has its own round reserve in case the entire container has to be cut away so it won't kill whatever it lands on.
  4. I live in Toledo and jump at Tecumseh - it's a 45 min. drive for me (maybe an hour if you're in a different part of town). That's definitely where I'd go - it's way closer than any of the Ohio DZs and is full of great people.
  5. It won't let me pick more than one thing - Ketchup is a must, but I also like relish and/or cheese.
  6. I do this a lot, and I find that I listen to and enjoy a much larger variety (both fiction and non) of audio books than I would ever pick up to actually read. I've only started one or two that I didn't like enough to listen to the rest of. My only suggestion is to get them from the library, don't buy them, they cost way too much.
  7. Do you happen to know how to download MySpace videos too?
  8. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and a fun sized 100 Grand bar for desert. Wow, I sound like I've gone back to third grade!! It tasted good though, and I could eat it without leaving my desk.
  9. Well, I didn't say I did a good job of it, I just said it was my goal there are skydivers like that?????
  10. Ok, I PM'd you my address. I don't particularly want to be a pain or a superstar, my goal is to be the quiet one in the corner who tries to stay out of everyone's way and not make a scene!
  11. I still haven't gotten my DVD - I'm guessing I wasn't on the mailing list. Either that or I was such a pain that the folks in charge are trying to forget I was there
  12. For those of us who don't know much about TSO testing, is doing 99 tests good or bad? How many are suggested/required? Does additional testing mean there was something wrong with the initial testing, or that a company went above and beyond the requirements (i.e. is more testing good or bad)?
  13. Good luck! One of my friends is flying to Boston today to run it too. Not something that sounds appealing to me, but I hope you have a great time
  14. I haven't had cable since I was maybe 5 or 6 and my dad had it. I won't say I NEVER watch TV, but if I watch 2 hours of it in a week, that's a lot for me. I do use my VCR/DVD player and watch movies sometimes.
  15. Skydive Chicago has 2, Skydive Tecumseh (Michigan) has 1
  16. I did some tunnel time with Pete in January, and you guys are definitely right - it was worth every penny. I learned a lot from him and had a great time. I was a little nervous going in since I hadn't worked with a coach before, but he was so low key about everything and every encouraging. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a coach, hope I get a chance to work with him again.
  17. Also, on this page is there a maximum number of results? When I put in 500 mile range it displays (I think) the 20 closest, but all of these are within 200-300 miles. Is there any way to view the others within 500 miles?
  18. Oh, I almost forgot about the DVD - can't wait to see it!
  19. AND it's not even supposed to be 50 again for almost a week!!
  20. I paid around $1300 for my A (a year and a half ago) doing the first half at a club 182 dropzone and the second half at a commercial Otter dropzone. Had I not had to move, I could have done it for about $800 at the club.
  21. It's been 2 or 3 years since I had mine done, but last time LDL was in the low 70's and HDL was in the 50's, total was 130's.
  22. Thanks to both of you for the photos. I had a great time - hope to be able to come down and jump with you guys again sometime! -Allison
  23. I have 20 inch risers and my arms aren't very long, can barely reach my slider - have never been able to stall any canopy I've flown (ranging from a few 150s to 288s) with the toggles. I do know that the brake lines on my current canopy were lengthened slightly by the previous owner, but I liked the way it flew so I never changed them back.
