  1. So most of the nutjobs with a spattering of organisms with backbones will gather tonight for their performances before right wing America. Real policy to address immigration, the economy will likely be absent. Attacks on WOKE ideas will keep most busy. Yawn ......For any foreigners who may watch the real reasons as to why America is on the wrong track will be on full display. Imagine playing the debate on prime time a century from now.
  2. Making counter accusations is the first rule of propaganda. trump does it, republicans do it and so does the FSB. The running total of war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine is now over 65,000
  3. Amazing. You get a lawyer thats looking out for your interests and you realize. Gee I better tell the truth and stop listening to the advice that I'm getting from a lawyer paid for by trump.
  4. The power that Russia has to disseminate disinformation and propaganda can't be underestimated. In US gun forums its efforts are non-stop. I'm sure in other right wing online media forums its extensive and pervasive as well. The EU and the Ukraine support tracker shows 41 countries actively supporting Ukraine with hundreds of billions of dollars. Every country of which monitors where their cash and weapons are going and the state of corruption in Ukraine. Ukraine currently ranks at #116 on the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index up ten places since 2019 the year Zelenskyy was elected. Zelenskyy just finished a recent tour of Europe and the talk wasn't of corruption but of 61 F-16s and billions of more aid. From the GOP watchdogs in Washington, McConnell for one nothing about corruption. Forty one countries helping Ukraine and no talk about corruption except from the fifth column of Russian supporters on the US right. Where the propaganda has landed and stuck firm. Civilians and taxpayers in all of those countries concerned that their hard earned money. The weapons that they bought for their national protection is going to Ukraine , for free.. All giving willingly to help Ukraine. But its only the US right that buys the propaganda of "Zelenskyy corruption". No talk on the US right about the kidnapped Ukrainian children taken to Russia. Because that neatly fits the Putin narrative that they in fact were saved from Nazis. The narrative that Putin's US supporters have swallowed hook, line and sinker. Sick puppets of Putin propaganda is what they are. Disgusting apologists for an indicted war criminal is what they are. One, Putin, that couldn't even go to S. Africa to meet with Xi on the weekend. Because he is an indicted war criminal.
  5. So many questions. There may be a pause for answers because its 01:30 Moscow time.
  6. He who pays the piper calls the tune.
  7. True trumpers will dismiss this by calling the courts fixed and corrupt. Then satisfy their frustrations by buying another AR-15.
  8. For trump's supporters when they realize they have been had? Using honor in the same sentence with trump himself is a oxymoron isn't it?
  9. Net Zero Housing and electric vehicles. Carbon taxes the most effective way to change personal conduct regarding carbon use. Urban planning to prioritize mass urban transit over private vehicles: Better Bus Systems Could Slow Climate Change Property tax systems that favor higher densities over detached single family/urban sprawl.
  10. Likely one of the few places left in Russia that might be safe as the attacking drone was a "copter-type UAV". So the attack was launched close to the base. Perhaps some nuclear powered subs should be next up.
  11. Holey wackjob batman. That makes Ron look like Einstein.
  12. Agree. I was thinking more along the lines of his brutal authoritarianism than backsliding from open democracy. IMO the real danger of trump is his openness to move in both authoritarianism and eliminating democracy. Obviously both being acceptable to his base. Meanwhile Ukraine is moving to transparent democracy.
  13. The current N. Atlantic situation. Brent should be dining on crow soon and its a good thing Joe got the hell out of the Caribbean. Imagine you're on a sailboat in the Bahamas. Which direction is safety?
  14. Most people can see how Russia slipped into that form of government under Putin. It takes effort to keep those forces at bay so they don't have to shed the blood of patriots like Ukraine is doing today. The power of misinformation is evident in the likes of Slim and how intrinsic such values are in him, in MAGA republicans.
  15. Only in the backwaters of America. May 17, 2023 PEW study. below. So as usual the Cherry picking Brent has scoured the web for misinformation. When does cherry picking slide into outright lies?
  16. A recent poll showed that a third of republicans believe violence may be necessary to keep trump in power. Florida is the home of MAGA republicans. Where Slim has heard it before? Likely something he believes in and heard and repeated himself many times before. President Volodymyr Zelensky explaining to Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen of Denmark that this is the release button to drop a 2000 pounder on Putin's bridge. She was enthusiastic that Ukraine could put them to good use helping Russians to find their way home. Sixty one F-16s have been pledged to Ukraine to date from Denmark and the Netherlands.Still waiting to hear from President Biden on a US donation.
  17. So you're saying that democrats in America have learned from the history of prejudice in America. But republicans haven't learnt from hundreds of years blaming every nationality and race?
  18. I thought they were called "your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me" At least until republicans turned their attentions to renaming them. This is what the hatred is directed to: Yes they should be hated because they are Brown skinned. Because they are poor, homeless, oppressed, seeking freedom and a better life. Judged to be illegals because they are gang members. Look at the one in the yellow outfit. Clearly a MS-13 member. The guy hiding behind the sign, probably a rapist.
  19. Wunderbar we agree again!
  20. Agree, just as he doesn't believe in the US constitution, freedom or democracy. Hell, he doesn't believe in science, acknowledging mistakes, paying for mistakes, the rule of law, equality under the law, international law, etc. etc.
  21. Obviously real battlefield results are above our pay grades. Well mine anyway. President Biden has approved F-16 exports and perhaps 50-60 are on the table, But Ukraine has had very good success with Storm Shadow missiles and the French version of same. Obviously the US and NATO Europe is supplying intel. The Netherlands has promised 6 F-16s at the end of this year, 18 in 2024 and 5 in 2025. I wonder if more of the same and ATACM missiles could result in a Ukrainian victory in itself? Air power without the bombers so to speak. Russia is losing equipment and skilled troops at a massive scale. They don't seem to have any program to fully train and fully equip top notch formations. Instead relying on pouring more and more contracted peasants from the far east. Anyone that can hold a Kalashnikov and use a shovel if good enough.Did you hear that Slim? Ukraine is massively expanding a domestic drone industry and striking further and further. Its starting to have better results at sea and on land.
  22. In two locations they have broken through the minefields, trenches and "dragon's teeth". But I'm guessing they are reluctant to commit reserves due to Russian airpower over any breakout. The general strategy in degrading Russian capabilities behind the lines seems to be more and more successful. I read more and more reports where Russians on the front have no armor support, no artillery support and non existent closely linked command. In addition Ukrainian armor seems to be able to operate with relative freedom. Which means Russian ATGMs seems to be in short supply. At least until Iran and N.Korea rushes supplies.
  23. I was thinking that there may be problems with that mission. It's been two generations since Russia did anything new on its own in space. All its rockets are old with the exception of some new missiles. The Russian space agency/company is called Roscosmos. It has been Putin's favorite grounds for scooping up cash. "Russia's Audit Chamber, a parliamentary body of financial control, said financial violations at Roscosmos in 2017 stood at 760 billion rubles (around $11.7 billion), accounting for nearly 40 percent of the total irregularities in the entire economy that year. Roscosmos told AFP that "eradicating corruption" is one of its "primary goals", adding that it regularly cooperates with investigations by the authorities." Now that Russia isn't flying cargo and paying passengers into space. Real cash to keep things running is in short supply. So much winning in Russia. Sorry Slim.
  24. If you apply enough pressure to Kid Rock. He turns into Niel Diamond.
