  1. Claims of our moderato..... Well according to you they are both all about heat!
  2. "The former Chief White House Strategist is fresh off stumping for firebrand jurist Roy Moore, who claimed a decisive victory against Sen. Luther Strange – a swamp varmint appointed under dubious circumstances to fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ vacated Alabama Senate seat. Bannon’s influence in the Alabama blowout has many wondering what’s next for the populist rabble-rouser. CNN’s Dana Bash reports the political tactician is setting his sights on the 2018 midterms, crisscrossing the country," Above from: http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/10/caplan-will-bannonism-not-trumpism-shape-republican-partys-future/ Roger Stone predicted (or: threatened) that congressional members should fear for their lives if they vote for impeachment In late August, in answer to a TMZ reporter’s questions, Roger Stone said that members of Congress would endanger their lives if they voted to impeach Trump. Stone said on camera: Try to impeach him, just try it. You will have a spasm of violence in this country, and insurrection, like you’ve never seen. … This is not 1974. The people will not stand for impeachment. A politician who votes for it would be endangering their own life. There will be violence on both sides. I’ll make this clear: I am not advocating violence, but I am predicting it." Roger Stone is a trump loyalist and republican- Bannon ideologue. http://www.newsweek.com/russia-investigation-tell-tale-signs-trump-expecting-worst-677521 Threats, intimidation, blackmail. All part of the new tools of hardball republican politics to fight the Russia investigation. To fight republicans who may imperil trump. Meanwhile for Bob Corker, the only republican with the freedom to speak about trump from within the party. The rest of the party responds with crickets. Ok well there is John McCain and a couple others that voted against health care "reform". Its evident that those who support trump intend violence should their man trump face justice. In light of the Vegas event should the FBI start investigations of white males who own AR-15's that support trump?
  3. Only the idiot In Chief could change the dialog. From what was originally. -police brutality against blacks -to national anthem protests -to its about disrespect for the US military -to its disrespect for the flag One concept that trump has nailed down is distraction. Robert Mueller has a duty to crack the whip on his group of 16 prosecutor-investigators.
  4. The NFLPA has already been clear on the matter. https://twitter.com/NFLPA/status/917189443861217285/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fsportsday.dallasnews.com%2Fdallas-cowboys%2Fcowboys%2F2017%2F10%2F08%2Fcowboys-owner-jerry-jones-player-disrespects-flag-allowed-play A fuller discussion in the Dallas News https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2017/10/08/cowboys-owner-jerry-jones-player-disrespects-flag-allowed-play?f=r With reference to Ron's post also. Jerry Jones might bench a player who disrespects the flag for an entire game. BUT that player will still receive his full salary. Furthermore if the whole team does it, is Jerry Jones himself going to play? THE NFLPA has been clear to the league. If actions are taken against a player, on this issue, they will act, in court. Motion #1 the Constitution submission #1 the contract. Jerry Jones is pandering to trump and his supporters who are not NFL fans. But who represent themselves as fans. Behind the scenes the NFL, the NFLPA are trying to avoid the trump-drama games. To get back to football.
  5. Thanks for that. I knew it was a publicity stunt. But the behind the scene waste just to allow Pence to pander to trump and his base. Is frankly stupid. The whole fight between trump and these protests is a tempest in a teapot. All part of the trump need for drama, distraction from the Russia investigation and appealing to the trump base.
  6. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2017/10/09/jerry-jones-gives-cowboys-players-ultimatum-stand-for-anthem-or-sit-for-game.html Oh thats why!! The Cowboys lost yesterday. The Cowboys are 2-3
  7. Pence follows Trump order and walks out of 49ers-Colts after players kneel https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/oct/08/mike-pence-leaves-nfl-game-protests If the stadium ran out of beer, that might be a reason to leave. Seriously, anyone who says they are not watching, or attending, NBA,NFL and now NHL games. Because of these national anthem protests is not a fan of those sports. The zealots in favor of the Flag, the national anthem. Also make threats to kill the women who protest. "The national anthem singer who kneeled in protest at the Titans-Seahawks game earlier this week says she has gotten death threats calling her "un-American." http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/353040-anthem-singer-who-kneeled-gets-death-threats Oh and Pence means of travel to watch the NFL game! Ethics watchdog blasts Pence for use of government travel to Colts game... the aircraft Pence takes can cost over $42,000 an hour to operate, meaning that Pence’s trip could cost upwards of $250,000. Just more draining the swamp. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/354476-ethics-watchdog-blasts-pence-for-use-of-government-travel-to
  8. I concur, free speech in itself and the symbols of free speech have never killed anyone. Fascism has. There is a slippery slope in free speech that can lead to injury or death. Thats why in many countries there are laws where incarceration can result from what in the US is "free speech". Displaying a Nazi flag in Germany for example. Free speech inciting racial hatred is a concept of concern in general. Prior to the Rwanda genocide the Hutu began demonizing the Tutsi minority. Publicly allowing the adjectives describing the Tutsi as inferior: https://books.google.ca/books?id=EDZa0zZ-XCAC&pg=PA449&lpg=PA449&dq=Tutsi+as+inferior,demonization&source=bl&ots=MwFnR8vjS8&sig=v5p4U3gVnWwIiOT2znHZl_nwRJc&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiLsa3SveHWAhUK_mMKHQXuCcgQ6AEILTAC#v=onepage&q=Tutsi%20as%20inferior%2Cdemonization&f=false The above from "Centuries of Genocide: Essays and Eyewitness Accounts". Which was authored before the latest genocide; "The Rohingya, who've been described as one of the most persecuted groups on the planet, are a stateless Muslim minority group who live primarily in the Rakhine state of Myanmar. They aren't considered citizens by the Myanmar government, in spite of the fact they've lived Myanmar for generations. "The lack of status bleeds into all aspects of their lives: they face restrictions on freedom of movement; their rights to health, education and religion; deprivation of their livelihoods; and constant harassment by security forces," Richard Weir, who covers Myanmar for Human Rights Watch, tells Newsweek. " http://www.newsweek.com/genocide-occurring-against-rohingya-myanmar-experts-weigh-659841 In a sick and perverse way the decent into savagery as depicted by "The Lord of the Flies" is in part, a motivation for many Americans to buy and posses guns. The decent of a society into ethnic cleansing is a minor event away, in their minds. A gun represents protection. Rhetorically, if the Rohingya, the Tutsi, has a safe full AR-15's in their closets would it have happened? Or, in silence, be happening today?
  9. As compared to the dysfunction of a federal government that uses federal institutions, false facts.... Full stop... Lies, to establish a federal version of a lie to cover up facts. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/10/05/fema-removes-statistics-about-drinking-water-access-and-electricity-in-puerto-rico-from-website/?utm_term=.95a500d65b0f Fake new, fake media, no, its the dysfunction of a federal government with trump at the apex of leadership. Who has an agenda of manipulation of fact to force his agenda.
  10. I assume you mean US. The short answer is none. But having the US justice department investigate and require the disclosure of the names of those that protested. The trump administration. Is a troublesome sign. "The shocking US vote not to condemn the death penalty for LGBT people" in another thread here. Is serious. The constant attacks on the US news media and constant lying by trump and his spokespeople. All to suppress facts and press alternative facts. Are all indicators of a mindset in trump that thankfully, republicans don't, for the majority, share. The US house and senate. The US Constitution. Are too strong individually and collectively. For a small mind, a fascist mind, like trump's.
  11. Well I have to agree with you on gun control in the US. Its going nowhere. The NRA supports a presidential order banning the sale of new bump stocks but not banning them. Or restricting ownership of existing bump stocks. A presidential order, not legislation. Because legislation means debate. This is a video of Steve Scalise,House majority whip. Yes, he's the guy who was shot in the hip during the baseball game. https://www.cbsnews.com/videos/rep-steve-scalise-on-why-he-supports-gun-rights/ The left wing shooter of Steve did more to preserve gun rights than the Vegas shooter did to move dialog to restrict them. In the US. Nancy Pelosi, minority Democrat leader also showed why there's debate about leadership among democrats. She was shooting her mouth off that a endless list of restrictions was on the agenda. "Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell is known as a shrewd political operator. You can count on him to enforce strict party loyalty.... OK. So when McConnell gets described in the press, it's like the words master technician or master tactician are part of his name. Can you explain how he got that reputation?... Well, he got that reputation over the years largely while he was leading his party in the minority. It was, of course, during the Obama years where he was so, so effective as a party leader who pulled the party together to lead the obstruction of the Obama agenda." http://www.npr.org/2017/07/29/540214738/mitch-mcconnells-leadership Mitch McConnell is against gun control of any sort. Yes the same Mitch McConnell that trump wants to fight with. The same one that trump wants to denigrate in public. Mitch, Steve and the orange wonder child. Will trump Pelosi any day of the week.
  12. I concur, that why, so far, I'm the only one to respond yes but wouldn't do it again. Unless...unless... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poOZKQwgs0g I had the bush!
  13. Someone flying a "fascist" banner bothers me far less than someone thinking it's up to them to allow it or not. Eventually you will come to realize that that you are either misguided or failed to understand the lessons of history. Limits on expression are far, far less egregious than fascism. Either that or you have no idea of what fascism means. Fascism /ˈfæʃɪzəm/ is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce that came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism So thats worse than the thinking of some that a symbol should not be displayed! Yikes.
  14. "Apparently good guys only buy guns when it appears there will be some sort of gun control demon running for national office. As a result, gun sales have slumped heavily following the election of Donald Trump.... Gun prices are falling fast. Manufacturers have too much supply and not enough demand... Looking over some of the recent gun sales flyers, I have to admit that it looks like guns are pretty much free these days. I recently saw a one-day flash sale of Taurus PT 111 G2 pistols for $199 each. I own a PT 111. I paid $250 for it three years ago. And I bought it used! I love that little pistol with its 12-round magazine and second-strike capability. It is a wonderful little concealed carry gun. AR-15 prices have fallen like an old hotel on the Vegas strip. I’ve seen entire guns, not just uppers, for $399.... Police trade-in guns are dropping in price as well. I recently saw Glock 17 pistols for $399. I was hoping I would start to see Beretta 92/M9 pistols for sale pretty soon, but the recall of the SIG 320 might slow that process just a bit. I bought an SKS for some ungodly low price a few months back. When all the discounts and rebates were applied to the price, I paid $58 for the gun" Sorry about the bad news for your 401k https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/lets-put-end-trump-slump/ Above from United States Concealed Carry Association
  15. The biggest US dropzones in California, Texas or Florida. If the intent is a skydiving movie. If you want to focus on aerial shots with scenic backgrounds. Start with hot air balloons or hang gliders. Is that your camera mounted on the helmet that looks like a 20 cm pizza?
  16. If half the nation wants abortion, same sex marriage and to disrespect the flag the other half should be allowed have our individual weapons collection. IMO, when SHTF manifests the first half is really going to need the latter half. AFAIK the SHTF scenario of thinking and gun ownership is unique to the US. For those who are unfamiliar with these ideas. Its the thinking that the US economy and society are so poorly grounded. That the government and society is going to be reduced to a hunger games/zombie world where only a gun. Preferably a Ar-15 in your hands and a Glock on your hips. Is going to save you from all the other starving desperate Americans who want to steal your food and guns. That in this scenario, only guns and ammunition will have value because with a gun you can defend what you have, take what you don't have and trade guns and ammo. With all the stupid Libs that never "prepped". Or spent endless endless hours building "bug out" kits. That "individual weapons collection(s)" would make more sense than a grain bin with 1000 bu of wheat or barley.

  18. this is fine the bump stock was ATF approved in 2010 The ATF department of the US government never "approved" bump stocks. Legal council for the ATF decided that it was a firearm part. As such, ATF would not likely be successful in any action in the courts to restrict it, or its sale. With reference to automatic weapons in the US the receiver is the restricted, regulated part. As its defined as the firearm. Thats why you can buy M-16 kits via mail, unrestricted. Which is the automatic version of the Ar-15. They would include every part of the automatic weapon with the exception of the receiver. One part. Ya? So? Got something to tell me I do not know? BTW Not every receiver can be converted to auto by just adding parts. The proper machining needs to be done so those parts work I have built around a dozen AR15's over the years. Of those I have kept is chambered in 6.5 Grendel. I had one 5.56 I sold I wish I still had. NONE of the those I built could be made full auto without machine work. (for normal parts anyway) Is the machine work a big deal? Not if you know what you are doing and have the correct tools. In the end I could care less about what happens to the bump stock other than it can be used as a stepping stone to toward other regulations. The one I will always fight and NEVER follow is registration. None of your (or the governments) damn business to know what guns I have. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jif4Wo0LDX8 I'm sorry. It's embarrassing to take advantage of youth and inexperience. I apologize again.

  20. Yes. I hope so as well. I hope nobody dies needlessly due to a mental illness, or through poor decision making. BTW, why use "innocent" twice when referring to the same subject in a single sentence? I find it amusing to see a comment on English grammar and sentence structure. Following one where reference to unprecedented mass murder is described as "poor decision making". Carry on.
  21. Russian Hackers Stole NSA Tools From Contractor Who Used Kaspersky Software WASHINGTON — Russian government hackers stole highly sensitive U.S. spying tools after a contractor brought classified material home and put it on a computer that used Kaspersky anti-virus software, a former senior intelligence official briefed on the matter told NBC News. .. Related: U.S. to Stop Using Software From Russia-Linked Kaspersky Lab The report also said it was unclear whether the contractor had lost his job or is facing prosecution. He is not believed to have wittingly cooperated with a foreign government. The man took his work home in violation of NSA rules, and Russian hackers were able to identify the material and access his machine because he was using Kaspersky software, the former official said. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/investigations/russian-hackers-stole-nsa-tools-contractor-who-used-kaspersky-software-n808101
  22. The premise is not false. No other civilized country is plagued bygun violence like America. Look, I am willing to listen to any idea. Got any that would have stopped the shooting this weekend? Why do you insist upon teasing everyone who reads your posts. You see you do not have any ideas either. Perfect example I why I waste little time on those like you...... You are very kind and considerate, unlike trump. thanks!!

  24. ... I am still staggered that Americans are told to accept rampant gun violence as "the price of freedom" while the idea of universal healthcare is somehow just inconceivable. I feel like the only thing that will change it is those spewing stupidity like "the price of freedom" start paying a whole lot more of that price. According to my calculations. The actual cost of freedom, i.e. gun violence, in the US over the lifetime of US citizen is $139,000. "the U.S. was found to be on course for the lowest average life expectancy levels of all the rich countries worldwide... very unequal to an extent the whole national performance is affected – it is the only country without universal health insurance," ... the U.S. has the highest child and maternal mortality, homicide rate, and body-mass index of any high-income country.... https://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/22/us-life-expectancy-is-low-and-is-now-projected-to-be-on-par-with-mexico-by-2030.html The annual cost for victims of gun violence is an average of $2.8 billion in emergency-room and inpatient charges alone, the study concluded. If lost wages are factored in, the financial burden rises to $45 billion each year. https://qz.com/1093144/us-gun-violence-costs-an-average-of-2-8-billion-a-year-a-johns-hopkins-study-reveals/ Assuming 80 year life expectancy, interest 5%, single annual compounding,$137 a year per person cost, of $45 billion over a 318 million population. The average life expectancy of a US citizen is only 78. But the OECD average country with universal health care is 80.
