PLENTY of freeflyers in Deland my friend. message me before you come . I will introduce you to the local freeflyers =). You won't have a problem finding someone to freefly with...Also the first Sunday of every month we have track and field day. Atmonauti tracking jumps organized by Micah Couch and company. Always good fun. You'll have no problem getting on loads during the week.....but we definitely fly more on the weekends.. Saturdays when we are flying two planes you won't be waiting too long. Fun jumpers are never bumped off a load for tandems. Plenty of toys all over the place for the kids and the fenced in play area...it's a family DZ. Please come out and see us we'd love to have you.

I'm bringing this back to life because I'm looking for this video. Does anyone know where I can score a copy of this? Please help me out. danke

why not just finger trap it and knot it? you don't have to sew to do that... and it seems faster no?

Freefliers using full face helmets.....question for you.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that you can take off the visor for the factory diver. I just use goggles under mine. Love it! I'm not really sure if I got kicked square in the face that the visor would provide any protection.....maybe I'd just end up with chucks of broken plastic in my face.....maybe not... I dunno. but I loves me some factory diver =) -
I also replace the batteries before I install a new unit into someone's rig......... they still die quick.

thank you =)

Did a search on this already. Does anyone here have any experience using this? What is the difference between this and the WJ AVE5? danke Amanda

do you know where I can get a copy of the manual? I don't have one for mine.

careful with the wider zig zag man. Mine goes out of time pretty quick unless I keep it small.

All of the staff there provide excellent coaching. If you want to set something up in advance you could try the skydive university website. They are located in DeLand, but they offer tunnel coaching as well I do believe....

fastest time in our PAC light load... under 10 minutes! I love that plane.

Go to GNC or Walmart and get some melatonin in the vitamin aisle. Melatonin is actually the chemical in your brain that makes you fall asleep. not addicting, no side affects. helps me out when I need it.

you don't have to go over board. check out gothic beauty's website. Most of the girls in there have very subtle looks.

I had an off heading opening every once in a while. a nice 90 left usually..... but I'd look up and see end cell closure. I've had some brisk openings, but no whackers. I have a buddy who complains of of heading openings on his sabre. I packed his rig a couple of times, and he said the openings were on heading. I personally think that alot of it has to do with how you pack em.Alot of people on my DZ have pocket sliders on their sabres... I never putone on as I never felt a need for one. Also..... when I switched from a ZP PC to an F111 that improved my openings significantly.

Brian Germain has a chart on his website.

happy hooker hook knives have a metal handle AND the blade is screwed into place! I love mine

Isn't that a requisite to pass AFF here?

I was hooked the second I exited the plane for the first time. I went right home and picked up two more jobs. I took what little I could out of each paycheck, and worked my ass off allllll winter until the season started. All of it went to AFF, my license and my gear. If you want it, you will find a way to make it happen. I don't think skydiving is any less expensive than any other sport one might want to get into. My dad was giving me a hard time one day about how much $$ I've put into jumping and my equipment. His hobby is hiking and camping. I asked him how much his tent was.... he told me 1500 bucks..... that doesn't include his clothing, shoes, and the rest of his gear. When we started doing the math... he's put as much cash into hiking as I have for my AFF, license and my rig. I don't think cost should sway anyone that really loves this sport. I've been broke since my first skydive. I work several jobs over the winter, I've sold a whoooole bunch of stuff I really liked. I want to skydive so much I'm willing to alter my way of life in order to be able to afford it. And it's worth it to me...but maybe not so much for other people. I haven't been in this sport long.... but I am so glad I finally figured out that I'm a skydiver.

did a search and didn't really find anything specific. I did a demo for one of these from PD while I was in florida... I liked it so much I bought one when I downsized. What kind of a pack job do these spectres get? I've been told a PD pack job is a PD pack job (except for those sabres which is what I'm currently jumping)I've kind of started working on my riggers ticket and I'm trying to learn how to pack faster/slower openings etc. So I was just wondering if anyone had some stuff I could try out. These snivel alot so I would imagine that I wouldn't want to roll the nose or anything. I'm thinking maybe it's more like a velocity pack job where you leave the center cell open and the slider even with that. Any comments would be appreciated. danke
