    Didn't do it in the end - winds were a bit crazy yesterday Did 3 jumps and landed off on one and almost on the other 2 - the spotting was really bad. Didn't get to play at all - just a case of look to see what fields I can land in if / when I don't get back

    I've got a hornet 170 @ 1.2 and was jumping it yesterday in zero winds (only jumped it once after that). I came in quick, but every landing was perfect, although the length of the swoop was a little scary cos I'm not used to jumping in no winds, especially as this is the smallest canopy I've jumped. When I grow up, I want to be a post whore

    I tried my new suit out today - The range of fall rates I got in this thing was amazing. Got from 130mph avg. to 110mph avg (SAS). Shoudn't have a problem jumping with anyone now - in my old RW suit it was fall quick or even quicker (no choice!!) When I grow up, I want to be a post whore

    Jumped my new kit for the 2nd - 4th time today in no wind - man those landings were quick !! I felt like I had a VX over my head or something

    Well, like I said, I jump a hornet atm and love it, so I think the next logical progression is to a heatwave (the same way that a lot of sabre jumpers go to a stiletto). I've heard a lot of good things about cobalts as well so I'll probably get one of those. But, it all depends on what I can get my dirty little hands on. Chances are, I'll end up with a stiletto at one point. When I grow up, I want to be a post whore

    I used to have one with no brakes, no lights, no indicators, no mirrors - no anything to make it road legal. Was great fun, but went through shoes quickly as I had to put my feet down to brake !!

    A few friends of mine are looking for first kit, and they're going with the traditional Javelin, Sabre, PD-R mix just because that's all they know and people tell them to get. It's a good combo, but there are other choices. If you asked them to name any other manufacturers, they'd stuggle. I've never been one to go with the flow - I like to make my on choices. That's why I'll probably never go PD. I jump a hornet at the minute and love it, and will probably get a heatwave next, and probably cobalt after that (a long time off but hey) When I grow up, I want to be a post whore

    I used to have a gecko, and put my pro-track in the other ear, as it fit in there quite nice. I put one bit of velcro in between the buttons on the pro-track and the other bit on the helmet and it worked really well. The velcro wan't necessary though. When I grow up, I want to be a post whore
