I wasn't able to get out until 6:30 and probably would've missed it completely since it is at least an hour to Antioch from Novato. I'm sad I couldn't go to the Rosary.
-
Don't know if anything is planned this evening, but if I can get out of work before 6, I plan to attend the Rosary at 7. It would be nice to meet some peeps for dinner.

4500 meters is closer to 15K than 13.5K (~14,580 ft).

Here's a quick one that I've shared with a few others: (heard while climbing to altitude and being next to him since I had to sit "bitch" on the hump of the King Air since I'm not of large stature) Deuce (to French tandem passenger from Marin): "And over there you can see the Golden Gate bridge and Mt. Tam." Passenger: ...... Deuce: "Now down below, the square-ish area with lots of boats is Discovery Bay...it's like a redneck Venice." Redneck Venice...I like that.

Keep reminding us...we'll need it long after the initial mourning is over. We're bad like that. Thanks.

I already know where to stalk you... Thanks for taking the collections.

Me too! Exactly. I'm kinda weird in that I frequently envision/wish myself in circumstances or places (even hundreds of years anachronistically) so I can change things or experience things. I wish I could be in that car and then headbutt him, punch him in the face, bite his arm/hand or whatever I needed to do to get the gun out of his hand.

Jump#35 Warm day, only wore shorts and a t-shirt. Wind switched directions on final and I wasn't experienced enough to downwind it. I rolled several times, spraining my ankle, several cuts & bruises and even partially tore my right rotator cuff (it healed in a few weeks).

Lany, Thank you very much. I'll give all of you who are there Saturday a hug.
-
Nice lady, you can cry on my shoulder anytime. Just grab me (we all know you can), hold me and cry. Maybe I'll be doing it to one of you guys Saturday at Byron.

Last week...and probably again 7 weeks from now.

He sure DID matter. Tragic. I'll miss ya.

Thanks for the pic, Krisanne.

Was this an earlier incident? If so, care to reveal any more info? I never knew if it was an earlier accident. Lord have mercy on him and his family. Suicide just sounds too difficult to accept from what I know about him. I want to believe there must have been some possible mental illiness or something. ????
-
Unbelievable. Suicide. This is VERY hard to believe.
-
Yes it was...but not at Cloverdale! Got two jumps in out of the turbo 206 today.

What are BSRs? kidding (but you said you're an asshole now, so this should be trivial by comparison)

Do You Like To Pop Bubble Wrap?-A Wednesday Time Waster
Elisha replied to boinky's topic in The Bonfire
Of course. In honor of you posting this link, I popped one real bubble on my on some huge role on my way to pick up some cookies from the cafe. -
As in, I need a new computer. Either my power supply, motherboard, CPU or all of them got fried due to my shitty power strip shutting off frequently. The computer is over 3 years old - an eMachines, so I should probably get another box instead of trying to fix this. I REALLY hope my harddrive is ok. What would you do? I'm fine with my present monitor, keyboard/mouse and printer. It would be nice to have a nicer sound card and newer other internal stuff. I want to spend the least amount of $$$ possible - just a box. Besides craigslist, what are my options? Thanks.

Doesn anyone here know the keyboard shortcuts for double-clicking and right-clicking in a SS? I want to avoide using the mouse when possible. Thanks.

Usually though, those non-skydiving jobs have these things call "benefits" - like retirement, 401(k) and most importantly Health Insurance.
