Depends on if he was in love with the Fire Service when he retired. At times I personally being in the service HATED things that remind me of work. Ok so the last jump I did was a while ago when my 3.5 year old daughter was born, I took a break. I have 179 jumps at this point, and am about to start back up jumping. Skydiving has been in my mind almost everyday, and I am so happy to be almost back in the air. Because of money I have been torn between a few hobbies such as duck hunting, mountain biking, and other things, but finally realized being in the air and around other jumpers is where I have the most fun, and feel the best. A few things such as life insurance, need to be done, but I believe skydiving is going to be what I devote most of my hobby time to from now on. Ok thanks I was hoping it was not worse. Being my first time there I was supprised to see different landing areas. Looked like a really cool Dz. The winds were very light and variable, it was also very hot alot of the jumpers were getting poor flares. Sounds like even tho a jumper followed the don't 180 just to land into the wind there were other complications. Things for all to think about: Choose your outs ahead of time(this may have been jumpers only out by that time?) Remember the differences in landing on flat, up/down slope grounds.(sounded like a feet first landing into a ditch bank?) PLF!(jumper might have?) Was at spaceland and saw someone land north and then there were lots of emergency vehicles and used medical eq. Does anyone know what kind of incident occurred and the status of the jumper. I flat pack. I jump a 370 sq ft canopy, and with my 6'3'' height most of the canopy is on the ground when I tried pro-packing. It does take alot of room, but I love the fact that I can see all the seams line up, all the lines perfectly straight, and just flows better in my mind. It takes up more space for about the first 5 minutes, once you stack the line groups it is the same space as most. Packing tabs helps alot, but I usually just run the top skin seams anyways. It just looks really good and uniform laid out flat basically looking like a stab and one cell laying on its side, gives you the warm and fuzzies Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. When I double click the top cam to make it fullscreen, it goes full screen, but the bottom half of the page gets blacked out, so i cant see the whole landing area or asphalt. It is tattoo ink. The ink they used to use fade FAST, but they probbaly have improved in the years. It is not colorless, you can tell the outline in broad daylight, it shows up as a dull yellow lines in your skin Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Yea heard they were signing a bill to take effect next summer regulating gift cards! I was happy as shit to see that. We had a 50 dollar gift card from valentines day through visa we checked the balance before we left. Went to movies 21 bucks went to eat 25 bucks, knowing there should be about 29 on there, I told the waitress to put it on the gift card, and I would leave cash, she came back and told me there was only 20 on the card!! Ok so how many years do you give the system before you think we can go back and evaluate if it was good or a failure? Theres nothing we can do about it now, but pray there is no unseen backlash that tanks some sector of gov/private, or the economy I saw a dem today on the ap iphone app that said the mortgage bailout was a failure as they were just announcing that they are about to go forth with legislation for people with loans for their homes that are approx 10-20 percent more than the value of their home. No I said if you are not willing to take the bill and pay. This is how they are getting around our system in la. There is a charity hospital that is about to be closed due to age, it's a teaching hospital. If you don't have insurance you go there. Patients are gettng around going there by calling 911 for a toothache stubbed toe and want to go to the good hospitals because now they can't be denied because they are coming in by ambulance. Or the ones that when you show up they tell you they have a dr appointment at a hospital and just need a ride!!!! I save lives in the community where I work at since 1998. How about GTFO my hospital if you can't pay and wont accept the bill to pay later..... Everyone is afforded the right to make a living in this country, and whoever says they were kept down by something/someone else did not try hard enough or just made bad decisions.... Bad decisions/luck on your part should not automatically become our problems. These people should grow up! Just like amazon and millions of other people I was not handed a everything I have now. We were poor as fuck growing up, my parents did not have a house decent enough that I would not be embarrassed to have friends over until I turned 17. I went to public school, any activities did not include vacations and theme parks it was playing in the yard. Our vehicles were hardly reliable enough to go to the store, but my parents fought hard, dad drove trucks, and operated machinery, mom worked at a local livestock store. My first part-time job was loading 50-100lb sacks of horse feed from middle school through high school. When I turned 18 I got hired onto a fire department, and have been there ever since fighting hard to advance, and better my life and the lives of my wife and daughter. I knew the pay when I went in, and I don't complain, I get up every day, go to work, train my guys, and save lives. Its retarded what some people scream about boo hoo my school loans are so horrible.
