  3. I landed ASS first on a rear riser flare on jump 9. Could not sit for more than a hour at a time for almost 6 months. Got xrays and everything was fine, but that shit hurts! I have torn and broken different bones and that was nothing compared to a tailbone injury. Get comfy seating is all i can recommend Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 5. Sorry Lou I did not see your post till this morning I will send it to you after this. One other thing I thought about was the leg padding stops in the middle of my crotch and not where the load is being applied at opening and other geometry is off that I will try to adjust today. I stayed up till midnight making legpads out of canvas thick rigid foam and elastic keepers. Will update after my first jump. Thanks all the bruises are really showing up this morning Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  6. Just got back. The severly nose and tail wrapped propack was better but not comfortable. Freefall speed was 127mph waved at 4 threw at 3500 Neptune showed deployment at 2850. Bryan bulcher a mff jm packed it for me the way they do it in school and said if that does not work we are gonna try something else. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 7. I have owned 3 of these rigs and this is the first with hard openings. I just got a Neptune again but my usual ff speed is 130-135. I usually flat pack with good openings in the past. I will measure the slider next. My rigger suggested roll pack we will try that next too. We rolled the crap out of the nose an tail on this propack and I have heard it opens worse usually with that type of packing, we will see. Were on a weather hold so I have not been in the air yet today:( Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  8. Here is the specs Paraflite MC-4 370 sqft f-111 canopy. Lines should be in trim Slider at the links(original for design type) Stows not double wrapped but snug 36''PC 8ft bridle Packed flat with the outboard nose rolled 3-4 times into the center cell I'm having hard openings on my rig(just got it). It has low jump numbers on it. It sits you upright with usual force, then as soon as you think, aahh we figured it out this opening is going to be good...SLAM right at the end. Hard enough to make me squirm in my harness until landing to ease the pain. We tried a few things, and the last jump we pro packed it rolling the crap out of the nose and the tail, so we will see what happens today. Possible causes I think is my speed. I just started jumping again, and might be arching hard during pull time, something I will concentrate on today is slowing down before pitch. I also have been making myself stay in a sable arched box for the first few jumps, so I have not looked up to see whats occuring, I will look up and watch it today to see if the slider is sneaking down from the bumpers, or anything I can tell. Anyone got any other ideas for me to try today, if we cant figure it out we were thinking of either getting a larger slider made, rubber banding lines or the slider. 9. Yes pulling down on the control lines to take up the slack in the lines Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  10. When he discussed it on Skydive radio I heard it as taking up brakes in flight was to "pretension" the control lines in anticipation of a stall/collapse there would be that much less lag time when giving imput to reinflate the canopy. 11. I can't speak for anything other than the FXC which I have delt alot with. All FXC units when sent to the factory are upgrated to revision "J", which most of the ones you find in the classifieds are that revision. If you already have a revision J it only needs to be sent back to the factory every 2 years for a checkout. They do a list of tests and checks, and change things like plastic parts and bumpers. If nothing is wrong, which there usually isn't the charge for the 2 year service is around $160 with return shipping included. If your send in one that is not a revision J they require a update and do a good amount of upgrading parts and such is where all the cost comes in. I have owned 3 MC-4 2 of them had FXC12000, and my current one has a vigil 2. You can find used FXC on here for less than 100$ and with instalation on your rig you can have one in operation for around 400$, then you have to send it back every 2 years for $160 which takes a while, and you are probbaly without a rig unless you buy a spare unit to rotate out while yours is getting checked out=more$ It has a few things to keep in mind, you must open IIRC 1500ft ABOVE where you set the AAD to open(it says on the control housing). I had mine set on 1500 and deployed at 3500. Remember to verify the activation alt before every jump as it moves throughout the day usually as the weather changes. It has never given me any trouble, and the unit was used for YEARS in all kinds of rigs. As I said for the cost of getting a unit, having it updated, and the cost of getting it checked out every 2 years I chose to go and spend the $1400 upfront and have newer technology with less sercvice interuption and not have to worry so much about a 2 out situation if for whatever reason I find myself opening at 2500 instead of my usual 3500. sorry for the spelling im in a rush to get started with work.... will check back later Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 12. I see them brand new on EBAY for about $250. I dont know if they have a service schedule like the FXC does, the ones on ebay might be timed out too Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,

  14. Although I don't know much about the other info posted, unless you pump some serious money into maintenance, and changing parts a hummer has no chance of going 300k before you just gotta give up on it. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,

  20. See the thing is the original was written by a diverse group of people who are experts in their field, who studied this, then came up with their recommendations, signed off on it and was intended to be submitted untouched. It was then edited by ONE person to add in two paragraphs of their own opinion to subversively change the whole recommendation to go along with the administrations goals despite the new outcome doing more harm than good. He admitted to doing this, and has already written letters of apology to the original writers. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
