  1. Just a note to ALL DZO's and/or DZM's, the page we are building is fully equipped with Hyperlinks to your DZ's websites, the distance from the Major Cities, your airport and your DZ phone number (or preferred phone number) It's basically the same list as posted here in the thread, but it will be a lot more comprehensive. The benefit to having a link on this page is that it will be an additional incoming link to your sites and will help you with your SEO. Another benefit is that the customer will have another resource to find your DZ and have a more educated decision on where they prefer to jump. Just PM Billy or I with your DZ's info and don't forget whether or not you accept sLyride. They all can be on the page, and they WILL all have the sLyride or non sLyride status posted with the DZ info. Here's the page again, The DZ's with the Green Title in Bold are the DZ's who already have their links in place. www.1800skyrideripoff.com/dzs Refuse to Lose!!! 2. It occurs to me that Skyride sites usually have an 800 number to call. It further occurs to me that 800 numbers are toll-free, but the other side has to pay for them -- plus, there are only a limited number of lines to take those calls. I wonder what would happen if hundreds of skydivers with landlines suddenly started auto-dialing those 800 numbers multiple times per day, maybe concentrating on one metropolitan area at a time. Count me in!!! Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  3. No matter what the moral/ethical/legal implications or consequences, take them at all cost? THAT'S where the problem is! None of us are saying not to deal with a middle man, just not one that has been proven to be a scam, admitted to being a scam, and absolutely does not care if the customer gets the services he/she paid for. 5. Does PRO matter in a rural area? Why was the Ft. Campbell Team able to do the NASCAR Busch race at Nashville without a PRO rating? A couple of those guys didn't have it, or so they said. And yep, I probably do need to update it, but I don't recall it having a question that asks about currency. #500 is what I am planning to get at Morristown. This thread is about what DZ's take or don't take sLyride, let's keep it on topic before it get's locked. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  6. ...or any DZ since you dont skydive? Brett There ya go again trying to divert the conversation! My currency has NOTHING to do with any thread here that I know of that I am in. Demo'd a football game last Friday night and a race track in late Oct. Problem? How can someone in California make an assumption about someone's currency in Tennessee? Refuse to Lose!!! 7. As disappointing as it is to say it, Ya may as well add Start Skydiving in Ohio to the list of DZ's that do accept sLyride! Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  8. Well,,, Maybe it would be helpful to the Eloy case,,, or maybe a wuffo is following the threads and trying to make an educated decision on where to jump so they don't get scammed by sLyride,,, or maybe it's just time for an updated list. As for a "Black List", well, I won't patronize a DZ who accepts sLyride and I know for a fact there are other jumpers who feel the same way. Planning to go to Morristown next weekend and I know for a fact they don't take sLyride's tickets. Etown is closer, but they take sLyride's tickets. Refuse to Lose!!! 9. What would it take to get a new thread going with current info? Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  10. As I said earlier, I wonder if they can be considered as an accomplice? Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  11. After checking out that video again, I noticed that John Hart @ Start skydiving said he does not do business with Thrill Planet/Skyride, I may be wrong, but the one time I jumped there, I talked to a tandem customer who was handing a 1 800 Skyride Gift Certificate to Manifest. I later asked another jumper if they accept the Skyride GC's, he said "Yeah, they've been doing that for a while". I had actually forgot about it, but after receiving an email last night, it reminded me of that time, so I thought I would bring it up here. I'm not sure, so can anyone confirm this? Yep! Confirmed! I just called up there and acted as a customer who is in town and has a sLyride GC and the guy who answered the phone said they do accept the GC's. He told me their operating hours and said just let him know when I want to schedule and they will be glad to get me set up. Could they be considered as an accomplice to sLyride in the Eloy case? 12. Ok, yeah, I noticed it after I posted it, but I left it on because it shows what I have been pointing out that they are doing their scam in other venues than just Skydiving. Just food for thought. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  13. Yeah Eric Parker called me last week and told me that they were getting ready to do a follow up story. I guess they ran it. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  14. Another news story. Business as usual? http://www.wcpo.com/mediacenter/local.aspx?videoid=3630@wcpo.dayport.com edited; Forgot to make it a clicky! Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org

  16. $50 per sign, per day.... So far, the last I heard, the count is getting close to the 500 range and they've known about it for 10 days that I know of,,,, 500 signs x50 dollars per sign ------------- $250,000 per day x10 days ------------- $2,500,000 of Cary's hard earned (scammed) money to Nashville! WOW! Maybe Crime does pay! That's $2.5 mil and growing! If I correctly understood what was said, the law will not only get the person that is posting the signs or stickers, it will get the company who's manufacturing the stickers, so wouldn't that be interpreted as the company who had them made. Isn't posting on a mail box a Federal offense? Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  17. BB looks in her hands...I got nuttin' eating Top Ramen as usual... I will just be pleased as punch not having to stand in the fire anymore seemingly being the "bad guy".
  18. And that's just how much is estimated they have scammed in Skydiving. What about the other venues? Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  19. Well, if he is a sLyride supporter and it looks, wouldn't that be business as usual? Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  20. And it also CLEARLY states our location right on the home page. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  21. The grandfather clause would have applied to a site like your www.nashvilleskydiving.com because it was there before the law, but the AST sites were done after the law took effect. So maybe you should check your timelines before you slam someone. Maybe, instead of taking your compadre's word for it, you should look at the site, It has clearly stated for almost a year now that we are closed. www.nashvilleskydiving.org Refuse to Lose!!! 22. Not to mention that all those AST pages that I posted earlier in this thread were made after the Tennessee State Law became law and made that practice illegal. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
  23. Apparently, you did not read what I said, It's not the DZ, it just happens to be a DZ that they set up here, if it were a Hot Air Balloon ride center or what ever they call it in that venue, we'd be doing the same thing. If Cary makes money off of it, we are looking at it and exposing anything that happens and educating the public about the scam. I can see where you or others can think that we are attacking a DZ, but like I said, it's the company, not the DZ. I will say just as others have, having an active DZ here in the Nashville area is a good thing, but NOT a sLyride DZ. I'm not sure what your thoughts are on the whole issue, but it sounds like you may be starting to believe them when they try to claim that the DZ and sLyride are not affiliated and are not the same company, but anyone here will tell you, they are definitely the same. As for the scam continuing, Cary himself said it best, "He has no intention of changing anything about the way he runs his business because he makes more money that way" (source; page 6 of Skydive AZ v 1 800 Skyride verdict) so what makes you or anyone else think that this DZ in Waverly is any exception to that quote? Billy, Chris, Pops, myself and others included have told the supporters here that if they don't want to catch the shit that Cary causes, they need to consider who they are associated with and go to their local DZ to operate. 24. Far too much damage has been done to the sport at this point for us to just set back and welcome a Cary affiliated business with open arms. We are here to "nip this in the bud" before it starts. If you have done your homework on the business practices and the track record of sLyride, you will have no problem understanding what it means when we expose their shit and why we do it. Anyone who is on our side of this issue knows that they will start out trying to look like they are good, then the scamming will start later. History proves it. This current news story proves it. This whole thing is not, and let me repeat this, IT IS NOT AN ATTACK ON A DZ, it is an unending effort to keep crime out of Tennessee and hopefully, one day, out of Skydiving. As I have said before, if the DZ were owned by Mullins or Curly or someone else, I'd probably be jumping there myself and promoting it. We have been accused by you and others of trying to hurt the sport, I will answer that by making a comparison; How many other companies who offer access or supposed access to Skydiving have had as many bad news stories, Litigation and well as Legislation brought against them? The comparison; NONE! So how is informing people about a company's track record hurting the sport? By allowing it to continue, the damage far outweighs the good. Refuse to Lose!!! 25. Here's the deal, that story ran because people here got screwed and one was not even a Skydive, it was a Balloon Ride. The reporter got the story because the people who were interviewed went to her with their problem, Actually, they went to the "ITeam" and the story was assigned to her because she had ran the original story when someone went whining to her with wild claims that were basically "Clarksville is picking on us". No that's not the quote that they said, I don't know what was actually said, but that's what it summed up to. She did her homework, found the Georgia AG and BBB stuff, The consumer affairs reports here in Tn, and some of the news reports around the country and decided that the story was verifyable and that she could report the truth about the company's Fraudulent and Desceptive business practices. You know as well as any that there is no shortage of information about sLyride and their Family Tree, (ASC, AST, Thrill Planet, Luxergy, etc). So all the emails that Billy posted about were from the supporters that are doing business as usual, diligently trying to put up their normal smoke screen to decieve someone (The reporter) into believing they are a good, upstanding company. We know different. Refuse to Lose!!! Failure is NOT an option! 1800skyrideripoff.com Nashvilleskydiving.org
