I am not an expert in these matters. My guess is you'd be somewhat less than 1000 feet due to the drag of deployment. I would expect a gradual deceleration during the opening sequence. Wouldn't expect a sudden stop after that long of an opening. We are all engines of karma

Have your political views changed in the last four years?
StreetScooby replied to Jib's topic in Speakers Corner
For years now, I've considered myself a moderate Republican. With the Bushies in power, it feels like an oxymoron. We are all engines of karma -
She most certainly won't be in walking distance. Nor is there a subway stop there (to my knowledge). Cab fare will run around $25 one way. We are all engines of karma

Count the seconds next time you deploy, or look at your altimeter. If you're flat and stable, standard calcs use 5.5 seconds per 1000 feet. We are all engines of karma

I know why I'm angry. I've discussed in a previous post. And, yes, there are underlying issues this episode has tapped into. I just need to let it pass, though it's difficult. We are all engines of karma

Here's what the Blue Sky Ranch's gear dealer (Sonic) does: 1) One party sends the gear to Sonic. 2) Sonic checks it out. 3) The other person pays. 4) When payment has been received, Sonic releases the gear. FYI. We are all engines of karma

Should they be required to be functional in the language of their chosen country? For God's sake, don't try and educate people who don't want to be educated. Ignorance is bliss for many people on this planet. We are all engines of karma

I really hate to say this, but I'm not at all convinced that capitalism is a stable long term system. Somewhere, patriotism and supporting your country and it's people need to count. That's not allowed in capitalism. Having said that, capitalism is the best established system available today, IMHO. I just don't know what is better, nor how to make capitalism better. Thus, we can only conclude that many Muslims are not capable of mature debate, QED. Note that I did NOT say all Muslims. It is a culture clash. Western societies must accept this for what it is, otherwise we'll never be able to deal with it effectively. We are all engines of karma
