Geee... who could THAT be? I'm enjoying the game quite a bit... much to Brit's dismay, but at least I can walk away from it, unlike the MMORPGs. The baddies are a LOT faster... and you really have to manage ammo. To tell you the truth, it looks like Id went with the Half-Life formula... FPS with a plot. My fave weapon so far? Chainsaw, bar none. I cleared a level in no time with just the chainsaw and barely took any damage. That might change when I get the BFG. BTW. For those of you who have gotten to the satellite transmission room, do you have any idea as to whether the choice you make makes any difference in gameplay? True. "Hamlet" is probably my favorite play of all time. Wonderfully dark. And actually, come to think of it, Dante's Inferno, Purgatorio & Paradisio were INCREDIBLY political. The Doors, Sabbath, Hendrix, the Dead NOT political? Better listen to the music more closely... No not every band's music has overt political overtones, but many, many 60s bands were overtly political... and vocal about it. Almost all punk is, by it's nature, political. A fair amount of Country is political (though I guess it's OK to be political if it's a right-wing diatribe). No that's Hillary. THK does nothing for me looks-wise, but I do like her "take no shit from no one" attitude. Laura always has this sort of vacuous, ditzy look on her face that reminds me a lot of Nancy Reagan. Truth be known, my favorite First Lady hands-down was Barbara. She was intelligent, articulate, approachable and used her position to advocate good causes that everyone could agree upon (like literacy). Also note, THK is actually far more republican-leaning than you would think. Not every person married to a liberal is themselves a liberal ... look at Mary Matalin & James Carville. There's a plot of land for sale here in TX that a bunch of us have been interested in for some time. It has the anchors already in place... just no tower. We've been trying to find a way to get an old dismantled tower on the cheap and get it assembled for a while now. The only way the Feds should be getting involved is with respect to state's rights & full faith & credit. Quite frankly, this is working the way I personally think it should work. If a state wants to be gay marriage, fine, that's their prerogative. If another wants to recognize it.. also fine. But if you have a legit marriage in one state, other states need to recognize the legality of it. You could turn this around... what if a state banned all STRAIGHT marriages and recognized only gay marriages?
