I still think the Chevelle looks and sounds better though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFluBjf5N1w&feature=related

>>ANY car can be cool if you are 16. If it isn't cool to start with, then you make it cool. Yeah I have to admit i remember doing that- the only vehicle I had was a 55 Willys Jeep which I maxed out with huge tires, springs and a Warn overdrive. All street rigs are designed to get attention and that's exactly what this kid is doing at 4 in the morning in low gear ripping around...he's asking for it- and if the cops don't get him he'll end up drifting it on a curve into a wall somewhere with his buddies.... and that's unfortunate but that's the way it usually goes with kids like that... Or they end up getting some unlucky girl preggers and then have to sell the car to cover expenses to raise a kid.

Yep I vote CV joint....not to scare but they can lock up on you if bad enough, with no warning, while you are driving so don't drive to the interview without getting the thing checked out and replaced if necessary. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415

Hehehe I knew that would get a rise out of the import crowd. It always gets a good debate going. I don't think the kid that Tuna is referring to gives a shit about insurance rates anyway, matter of fact I don't think kids like that really give a shit about anything but trying to act like tough gangbanger wannabe's to impress whoever. When Tuna said "Riced out"..I know exactly what he means. I don't get how those cars became so popular for racing among American kids anyway. They're just kind of a joke to me-I'm old school. They sound like a long fart in a bathtub going down the road. And I have not seen one beat a domestic rod on a PINKS strip or any strip for that matter...NOT ONE and thats a nation wide show and a huge cross section of cars- Maybe I just can't relate to the compact import street rig, because I didn't grow up working on imports except for a 67 Spitfire. Imports generally do handle better on the curves though- I'll give you that. As for gas milage...the big boys and girls burn alcohol anyway.

I had this same problem except that my road near my house is a 1/4 mile straightaway and the fuckers use to drag race on it......Whats funny is the fact that these guys think their cars are hot BWAAAHHHH anyone from the generation of big blocks with two carbs and maybe a blower and a manual-automatic racing trans knows the difference- ask him to take his rice rod to a PINKS drag race so you can watch him legally lose his title to a better car and driver. Eventually these guys get tired of ripping around and they grow up or disappear because the cops enjoy hassling these jerks so much...I say do nothing and let the cops deal with him .You are a skydiver... invite Mr. tough guy to the DZ...nothing like a first jump for an education in humility, right?

Misternatural replied to LuckyMcSwervy's topic in The Bonfire
Thanks for the review- I was wondering about that movie. Nope i really did go for a hike for about two hours....it was sooo coool the trees were completely black but covered with ice and the snow was all sparkly- like I said it was as bright as daytime, no flashlight needed- a little spooky in some sections of the woods but I HIGHLY recommend it- and no, I wasn't high in case anyone wonders. oh wait -you're talking to Lucky...... never mind -

I just made five gallons of nice dark beer -
I don't think plugging that vent or Floor register will be a problem as long as it is a supply- that is if hot air comes OUT of it then you can block it off for the time being. if it is a return [suction] then don't block it off but you will have to live with the odor until you can find the source of the stench and remove it. Do you know how to open up the furnace to check the filter? Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415

>just being bitches about a simple problem that could have been solved with a walk across the street and the press of a door bell. Depends on the situation Heres an example using the ring the doorbell approach with neighbors. true story- I am a land owner of the same property for 20 years, I had to evict four bordering neighbors form my land over those years... tried the nice approach "Hey how ya doin' nice yard you got here you know you're over the line here by by quite a few feet(12)I would appreciate it if you could pull your stuff back onto your property before it becomes a problem." You know where that got me...guess granted the situation is much different from Daves. Anyway after a long while- I had to ramp up the volume, then remove their shit myself...They called the cops and you know what the cop said to me...."Next time call us if you have a problem." Fortunately for me I was in the right. Moral of the story- sometimes it's just better to call the cops right off the bat. Because when you get down to it some people don't have any respect unless you can affect them somehow using the law-- or other means which will probably land you in jail. I know that sucks but that's the way it is for the majority from my experience. I stand that they did the smart thing- its done with, a little fur got ruffled. SO WHAT the problem got solved. They can all laugh about it over a beer later the point is nobody got hurt or sent to jail.

> is a far cry from 20 years it varies state to state- around here it use to be seven. >There's nothing that says they can't be amicable and talk to dave first Absolutely, but though you or I may know Dave to be a reasonable person, sometimes that action gets someone a sho**** in the face- from either party. They may have not done the neighborly thing but they did the smart thing from the laws perspective.. again I'm no cop or lawyer...I just watch a lot of peoples court etc. *edited for prohibited noun

You can actually adversely possess public property as well from my understanding- if you do it long enough.... squatters rights. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415

sup bro, I know why they used the cops- Some people are aware that they have to set a time line on paper to document the actual time of the start of an infraction. This is especially true with real estate issues and since your trailer is a dwelling that may constitute adverse possession, in that you MAY plan on taking up permanent residence there...law or not so unless someone actually files a complaint officially then you CAN stay there and eventually, usually 20 years, claim it as your property. Even though that is clearly not your intent- so in a way weird way they are just being smart, not necessarily malicious.

That's right....it's been a while, like 35 years- so that's my excuse. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415

Yeah, i know what you mean, I use it regularly, it should be taught in grammar school as a word that can be used as a verb, noun, adverb, pronoun, interjection, adjective- just about anywhere in a sentence-It should be on Sesame Street-you know where the two people are facing each other and each say part of the word then put it together Fu ------> Uck.......Fuck! cuz that would be funny
