You mean Trump's inauguration committee that caused the non-profit as well as Trump's company to pay $750,000 for the misuse of non-profit funds? Strangely enough Brent is silent on that one too.

You mean other than the clearly racist undertones? For a more evenhanded explanation: https://apnews.com/article/government-and-politics-race-ethnicity-philanthropy-black-lives-matter-5bc4772e029da522036f8ad2a02990aa Let's not forget the previous president and his children have been banned from running a charity, since they stole all the funds. You are completely silent on that...utterly and totally silent. Yet you continue to make comments about the largest black led charity in the US. You may want to look at your motivation, from where I sit it shows a lot about you and none of it is positive.
  3. He has described his father as a terrible human being. Not aware of his father being an anti-apartheid politician, do you have any sources for this? Errroll did fuck his set-daughter and got her pregnant. None of his children seem to actually like him.
  4. Reeks of somebody trying to justify to themselves how their version of replacement theory isn't as bad as the "real" replacement theory.
  5. The trade policies that exacerbate this issue were solidly Republican and can be traced back to Trump's USMCA.
  6. I feel the same. He is really the only candidate able to win a national election. Especially Poilievre would guarantee another Liberal win, likely a majority this time. The problem the federal conservatives have is that the leader appears to have to take a pretty "extreme" stance in the leadership race, which they then have to change during the federal elections. This opens them up to accusations of flip/flopping, not being honest and hiding their true intentions. Just makes them too easy to attack. I will most likely vote for Charest in the leadership race.
  7. I guess now that Musk is a Republican he isn't allowed to abort his twitter bid.
  8. The Advantages of Extremism by John Cleese.
  9. Is that the same Hunter Biden who Tucker Carlson and his wife heaped praise on when they were asking him to get their kid into Georgetown? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/05/19/look-time-tucker-carlson-asked-hunter-biden-favor/ And the same Tucker who then said off air how he cannot comment on the emails since they are part of a Russian disinformation campaign before saying on-air how Hunter's laptop is definitely real and not part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Lastly, Buckley? Who names their kid Buckley?
  10. He had it so rough his mommy had to come and help him.
  11. You are in favour of government mandated and regulated manufacturing and oppose health and safety regulations. You make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
  12. That would put him pretty firmly on the right side of the political spectrum. Unless you are one of those people who believe that national socialism is left wing cause it has the word socialism. Probably also believe the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a thriving democracy.
  13. From the actual inspection reports I linked to: "...both FDA and your firm found evidence of Cronobacter spp. in your powdered infant formula production environment. Your firm also identified Cronobacter spp. in finished powdered infant formula products."
  14. You just said there was no problem, so exactly what problem are you blaming Biden for? the CDC did find problems in the plant. Are you upset an infant formula producer would have to be inspected?
  15. Great, so all is good then! Exactly how is this Biden's fault?
  16. I mean you provide such a strong source. But the actual inspections did show there are some issues that had to get addressed: https://www.fda.gov/media/157073/download (pdf) specifically related to the type of bacteria that caused the illness. In the mean time, Canada could have provided formula, while Abbott was sorting out there issues, but Trump's USMCA doesn't allow it. But, please do explain how Biden is responsible for Abbott recalling their product and Trump legislation that stopped formula imports from Canada.
  17. Arguments for all of these, but let's for instance take the baby formula shortage. Trump's USMCA makes it near impossible to import baby formula from Canada. Turns out America First isn't that great when you have a monopoly churning out poisoned baby formula. But no worries, they will be allowed to start producing again soon, without making any changes.
  18. Does the annuity pay out at death? In Canada almost none of the lotteries offer an annuity. IN the rare case it does, I would not opt for it. Mostly because currently lottery winnings are not taxed, but that can obviously change in the future. In stead of an annuity option, you could also protect a large portion of the winnings by using it to buy a long term non-cashable GIC. Would at least provide some protection. Personally I think the biggest source of unhappiness would come from breakdowns of relationships with friends and family.
  19. A few years after the money runs out Winning the lottery can certainly be a happy occasion, but for may it also comes with terrible strain on relationships, friends, family, having to move away from your neighbourhood, harassment and an increased likelihood to be murdered. As one participant in a Dutch documentary said: I wouldn't wish winning the lottery on my worst enemy.
  20. In the short term, for sure. There is a reason I specifically mentioned long term.
  21. Just look at what winning the lottery does....Somehow it doesn't equate to guaranteed long term happiness. Quite the opposite.
  22. It is the reason people with mental health diseases can get guns and participate in mass shootings.
  23. But that is also happening in Texas....with a larger gap in capacity AND an entire grid already based on fossil fuels. You are arguing that a fossil fuel based grid that cannot meet demand under normal conditions by 5 gigawatt is superior to a renewable based grid that cannot meet demand under extreme circumstances by 3.5 gigawatt.

  25. So more expensive, more reliable and better for the environment. But you don't get a senator who goes to Mexico when the power goes out.
