  1. He'll probably claim he thought she had an abortion.
  2. I see those being discussed on twitter all the time. However, I don't understand how you can argue that a baker should be allowed to refuse to bake cakes for gay people, but Twitter is not allowed to moderate content?
  3. Fair enough, that would make more sense
  4. I think she won....I see she is eligible for £115,000 annually for the rest of her life for her 45 days in office.
  5. That isn't what you thought, or at least not what you questioned. Let me repeat it for you, if scrolling back up is too hard for you: "are you still getting your “science” from left wing media?" Which really brings us back to a frequently posed question, all the best people are asking it: can you state your name without fucking it up?
  6. This is quite something: https://twitter.com/DanJohnsonNews/status/1582808074875973633?s=20&t=kuERSz9LhodH6T8HM2kp-g
  7. Judge Carter rules that certain emails between Trump and Eastman (his lawyer) are not attorney-client privileged due to crime-fraud exemption. The emails are "sufficiently related to and in furtherance of a conspiracy to defraud the United States". They do this because Trump lied in the GA lawsuit. Edited to add that the emails show that he was aware the information he attested to was false and that he filed lawsuits not for legal relief, but simply to try and obstruct.
  8. A man cannot be deprived of his urges and the woke bathrooms on campus prevented him from using those.
  9. There are quite a few hurricanes and tropical storms where freshwater flooding is the leading cause of death. Secondly, you asked about "wetness" being a metric. I think we can now agree that wetness/water is the predominant issue regarding the destruction associated with hurricanes. Hence if climate change does indeed result in hurricanes that move slower and generate more rainfall, that would have a very high impact. Probably more so than just more hurricanes.
  10. Here is a prime example of statues and plaques clearly not teaching anything!
  11. Leave the dogs out of it. Shoot a damn cat instead, they are assholes.
  12. Considering how much we distrust large companies, it would make sense to pass legislation that would require large oil companies to donate a portion of their profits in kind to replace the oil reserve.
  13. I tend to care more about human life than property damage. Water is overwhelmingly the deadliest part of a hurricane.
  14. Considering water is by far the leading cause of deaths associated with hurricanes I would think it has always been a part of the measurements of those hurricanes that make landfall. Hurricanes without rainfall would be significantly less deadly or damaging. Hence if global warming would lead to more moisture in the air and therefor higher rainfall rates it would have a material impact on the outcome/damage done by hurricanes, everything else remaining equal.
  15. I am missing where it says that is the only measurement used. Can you point it out please?
  16. Yeah it is generally measured by wind speed, speed of movement of hurricane, and amount of precipitation.
  17. Sure, but that isn't an inherent distrust of large companies. Why else would they support a leader who constantly will tell you what a large company he built. I have also not seen a single Trumpist call for the dismantling of oil companies. In stead they blame Biden. So no, I don't see a true distrust of large companies. I see some large companies being used as a boogeyman. And some companies large and small are indeed evil.
  18. They also made Robin heterosexual and then had to cancel. https://bleedingcool.com/comics/dc-cancels-heterosexual-robin-comic-after-17-issues-as-sales-fall-flat/ Seems as always you struggle with correlation and causation.
  19. Florida is a prime example of a below average season. They are doing so much better that the last few years! Regardless, latest research seems to indicate not an increase in number of hurricanes but an increase in severity/impact of hurricanes.
  20. But there is no extreme distrust of large companies. There is feigned distrust of large companies that do not behave Trumpists want them to behave. Trump had a push to deregulate markets and companies if their line of work helped his tribe, such as environmental deregulation. At the same time there was a push to regulate other companies more, such as media platforms.
  21. You mean Brent is struggling with causation and correlation? I am so shocked.
