Looks like he had some help.....

Sep 30 was a great day for SPY calls.

Looks like all those federal aid dollars seem to be working.
-
And it didn't take long for the "why would I pay for other people" crowd to start screaming "we need money, send us money...help...help"

Well there likely won't be more of them. Studies seem to indicate that Global Warming is reducing or at last stabilizing the number of hurricanes/cyclones. However the proportion of hurricanes/cyclones reaching category 4 or 5 and the rainfall rate are expected to increase due to climate change. So less of them doing more damage. https://www.gfdl.noaa.gov/global-warming-and-hurricanes/

Post trump Legal Actions, Including his Enablers

His first marriage was to his second cousin. Now he hasn't paid support on his third marriage falling apart. Now I understand why the GOP loves this guy so much. -
Subsidized housing is very hard to get in most populous areas, specially for a family of 6 or 7. Maximum monthly benefit for Canada Child Benefit is $5,375 per month. For that you would have to have 5 children under 6 years of age and 5 more children between 7 and 17....10 kids in total, and then you are going to ahve to keep having kids to not reduce that amount as children "age out". Nobody lives a decent life on welfare and baby bonuses. edited to add: for the above example you need an annual reported income of $10,000 or less. Social assistance payments are reported income, and will start reducing the amount.

Mostly in Canada as well. Though there are multiple forms of social assistance, some that are federal and some that are provincial. Employment Insurance (EI) is federal and pays if you are terminated without cause from employment. It only pays out if you have worked enough hours and is limited in duration. Each province also has "welfare" for those who are not eligible or no longer eligible for EI. Most provinces also have term limits on eligibility. In most parts of the country "welfare" is nowhere near enough to live off. For instance, as a single parent with one child BC maximum welfare payment is $1,280 per month. Market rent for a 1 bedroom apartment in Vancouver is around $2,000 per month. So when you add the Canada Child Benefit of approx. $500 per month and the BC Family Benefit of $133 a month, you can maybe afford the rent.

Are we then at least in agreement that fracking has a significant enough impact on the land that population of that land could be an issue?

My biggest problem with them is related to that. It is that they seem to think every problem should be resolved with a spending program AND that only they could possibly come up with the right (spending) solution.

Never going to happen....judge at some level associates with them and "that type of person" really doesn't belong in jail. It is those "other people" from different social classes that you cannot empathize with that are much easier to send to jail. This concepts is pretty pervasive throughout society. Same concepts that drive dehumanizing your enemy to make it easier to kill them. -
Just happened to trip at the top of the stairs.....

Because lying to people to get them to on a plane to another state is a problem. Using those with the least amount of power as a political pawn is a problem. Sorry you can't see that. Same as using young soldiers as cannon fodder for political gain is a problem.
-
You think shipping them all to a camp and holding them there is the solution? Treating those who present themselves as refugees at the border (as they should according to your laws) and those caught crossing the border illegally exactly the same? Are you suggesting this is done at the northern border as well? What about those who are nude models and are flown here on "genius visas" and then use chain migration to bring the entire family over?

You refuse to define "normal" but have no problem to confidently state there is no abnormal fluxuation....that's how you science folks...feel it in your belly! -
Bullshit. All around bullshit.

Exactly! Shows how pervasive that narrative is. I don't see Bigun as an ideologue, so it shows how easy it is to just refer to them as illegal, dehumanize them a bit more...
-
And your point is? And how did he get "his hands" on 55 buses full of illegal immigrants? How did he get them on the buses? What if veterans who are suffering and looking for care are shipped to El Paso? Told that they have all the facilities to look after them?
-
Maybe you will get it if it was a little different. Imagine 50 single mothers with babies were lied to and bussed to your town, who has a pro-abortion mayor. They are dropped off, unannounced at the mayor's front door, cause hey the people of the town said they love babies. But of course, Biden made sure he had a videographer meet them there, just so they could film the reaction. Oh the horror of lying to single mothers to send them to pro-life areas....right

A cite for exactly which part in that sentence?

Yeah but you also said you weren't a republican right before sayin you are a Ron DeSantis guy. Basically you will say anything. I may despise trumpist, but at least they have the balls to say what they stand for...you just flap limply in the wind....
-
Yeah why would anybody have a problem with lying to the poorest and weakest amongst us just so they can be used in a political stunt.
-
Says the man after Fox News said in court nobody would be stupid enough to believe their shows are news. But I think you didn't know it.
-
Meh, just indicating that conflating viewer count with truthfulness is idiotic, but I think you don't know it.

So is this "Credo quia Absurdum" or "dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum?"
