  1. Tim's has tried a few times and continues to try. They might have some success in select locations but the competition against DD will prevent it from being as popular as in most parts of Canada. TH does now operate in 13 countries around the world, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy a franchise.
  2. Our military spending, readiness and capabilities are bad, very bad. Our politics are not as bad, but getting worse. Canada has enough failings but a violent attempt at a coup is not yet on the books. I don't think the Trump years were a one off that are now behind you. There is more coming.
  3. That was the cry indeed. But, there is a reason why Trump's legal team has actually never used that reasoning in any legal filings. If he knowingly retained those documents after declassifying them, he is de facto admitting to willfully breaking the PRA, which is a crime.
  4. No can do until you link to each prediction you made a year ago. You claim to be right, but you can't seem to link to the original predictions. If you cannot understand the issue with that, we are back to the name thing.....
  5. Meaning some were not and were therefor killed by people trained and paid to kill. Which would make them subject to the death penalty according to you.
  6. Sure it would. Just saying your proposal wouldn't yield that result.
  7. So like soldiers? https://ottawacitizen.com/news/national/defence-watch/canadian-special-forces-involved-in-u-s-military-team-accused-of-killing-scores-of-innocent-people-in-iraq-syria
  8. Say you have absolutely no clue what you are talking a out, without saying you are fucking clueless.
  9. Well, let's see how well you get it and if the Democrats do what you proposed. Unless they all also don't get it.
  10. I asked for a link to your predictions from a year ago. Quite the delusion of grandeur if you think they are in The Guardian. Should we take this a few steps slower and start with asking you to state your name?
  11. I did. You couldn't deliver. Lippy was right.
  12. BH gloating over some half-truths that he won't be able to back up with data when challenged Check, Check, motherfucking triple-Check!
  13. Link to the predictions you made a year ago. Let's see how well they line up with your post above.
  14. Ah yes, there is the libertarian delusion.
  15. 1. He wouldn't ask for votes, he would ask for Democrats not showing up to vote. 2. That is already well known, part of what is driving opposition to him. 3. That would go away as soon as he proclaims to have reconsidered and will not give any of the committee gavels to a Democrat.
  16. Didn't you describe yourself as Libertarian?
  17. So what? "Owning the Libs" would get him extra support.
  18. How could the Democrats be sure McCarthy would hold up his side of the deal?
  19. As usual when the GOP talks about weaponization of the IRS they are projecting.
  20. Depends on what the poll discloses. You might see the percentage of gay people decrease, because there are now other "options" to chose from in a poll. it is then easy to start claiming the percentage of gay people is decreasing and therefor society rally doesn't have to do much for them anymore.
  21. Yes. Without a doubt there would be instances of it. How it would be dealt with would likely be different.
  22. $2 billion buys more than a one time transfer of secret information.
  23. Good way to pay for classified information.
