  1. Not so far. Weird considering the GOP announced today who is going to respond. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/arkansas-gov-sarah-sanders-deliver-gop-response-bidens-state-union-address It is on Tuesday.
  2. I find it exceedingly unlikely that determination was already made. Though even without references to classified information they may belong to NARA under the PRA.
  3. At least we know who they are. Trump is refusing to disclose who actually found the confidential documents in his self storage unit. So if accessibility to documents by other people is the driving factor, both are "at risk" Would appear Pence less so. Realistically, the documents found in Trump's Self Storage unit are likely not going to be an issue for him, since it would be impossible to prove intent. I think Pence and from what I can see so far Biden are going to be in the same boat. Will be a lot harder for Trump to argue he never intended to have those documents. NARA has now sent a letter to all living former president's and vice-presidents to check if they inadvertently have information lying around too. All except Carter that is.
  4. Correct. Even while he was President they didn't keep track of who was in the club and had access to him or his files for that matter. https://www.npr.org/2017/10/06/556229723/secret-service-says-no-system-for-keeping-track-of-mar-a-lago-visitors
  5. You mean other than the self storage facility where they were found by people without a security clearance?
  6. 10-12 - Biden documents found 3 - Biden locations searched, voluntarily 1000+ - Trump documents found 1 - Trump location searched, by warrant
  7. Is this going to be like the Durham investigation?
  8. No he didn't. Please do, so far you are 0 for 1 on the right wing meme accuracy. Then why are you so worried that you are going to be mandated to use a specific pronoun?
  9. Is there a proposal that mandates by law how we address people? Seems like one of them there strawman scare tactics.
  10. True. GOP doesn't have a Senate majority so impeachment and anything overly detrimental for Dems is pretty unlikely. Gym Jordan and some others didn't show up for a committee subpoena, so look forward to Gym sending one, the DOJ sending a little bit of info, Gym referring to DOJ for prosecution and DOJ saying no. Funny, considering you just listed what the Senate could do even though you are really speaking about Committee leadership.
  11. This issue combined with performance enhancing drug issues may lead to sports not classifying by gender, but by chemical markers.
  12. This will all end up getting litigated, with the DOJ winning the case, likely in front of SCOTUS. Just like Congress is trying to stop DOJ from getting the phone contents of Rep Perry. That too will likely end up in front of SCOTUS, where the DOJ will also win.
  13. If they are then why did you start this all with saying the DOJ wasn't playing ball? But I said they have a long history of not providing non-public information on pending and ongoing investigations unless there is a National Security concern. From the article you linked: The Department of Justice is working to brief lawmakers on potential risks to national security after the discovery of classified documents at the homes of both former President Donald Trump and President Biden, a department official told senators in a letter Saturday. So, you are proving it is all working like I said it would. Thank you.
  14. Don't care who started it. You brought up the DOJ response and I have been trying to educate you on why that is. You have been backpedaling and moving goal posts ever since. the word "if" is doing a lot of work in your sentence. But I agree, if he is then it should be investigated. I also believe there is an ongoing FBI investigation into the laptop and there is a Special Prosecutor looking into the classified information found. Those need to be completed before Gym Jordan needs to be involved.
  15. Thank you for again proving this is all about political points and not National Security.
  16. I'd give Jared some credit if he actually came up with the compromise, but he didn't. I will however note that you are clearly fine with peddling intelligence information for personal gain, just as long as something else positive also happens. Once again, you are showing that this is political for you and has nothing to do with National Security.
  17. Yes, just like Jared Kushner not being able to pass a security clearance investigation and Trump giving him one anyways should have concerned people. But you were silent at the time. You were also silent when MBS specifically stated Jared Kushner gave him intelligence information that allowed him to lock up those who didn't agree with him. Jared Kushner has since been given $2 billion dollars. You were all silent throughout this. So, we know you don't really care about Hunter's laptop, or maybe Joe giving information to Hunter. You care about scoring political points. If you cared about the actual issues, you would have spoken up about many more things.....
  18. People should be asking questions about the Durham investigation. Such as why wasn't a declination memo issued for the criminal investigation Durham led into Trump. The law for Special Prosecutors states such a declination memo has to be written. When spillage occurs, the DOJ does a threat assessment. I am sure such a threat assessment is currently ongoing. I am also sure that if such a threat has immediate national security concerns, congress will be briefed as has pretty much always been the case. The fact you are only focusing on Hunter Biden shows enough I think.
  19. That’s because that is for when white cops kill black people. Now that they were black cops the narrative is more along: If they weren’t forced to hire black cops this wouldn’t have happened.
  20. Of course there is a reason and it really makes no difference which party is in the lead. The reason is that you don’t want to prejudice ongoing investigations. This has been the case for many many decades now. I know you understand that this is all political or you would be asking for these committees to investigate the Durham investigation.
  21. Weird comment from a guy who loudly proclaimed nobody was ever offended in another thread.
  22. Do you think the Special Prosecutor should be allowed to finish their jobs? Or do you think Congress should be allowed to frustrate and possibly invalidate ongoing investigations?
  23. Something like 1.3 million people have a TS clearance. Only codeword level TS information is tracked. Spillage has been a well known problem for quite some time. Most are very innocent, some are not.
  24. Not here in most parts of Canada. Only way in is generally through family members and by far still completely dominated by white men. It is a part-time job with full time pay and many, many firefighters run separate companies while on the job. It is a very sought after job and highly protected.
