  1. I understand it is hard for you to grasp that people can make a distinction between the two.
  2. That's not an argument, just another emotional statement.
  3. In stead of your emotional reply, why don't you explain how invading Iraq protected the rights and freedom in the US?
  4. Excellent, how exactly how you protecting the rights and freedom in US while serving in the Balkan?
  5. When serving your country by invading Iraq. That doesn't protect the rights and freedom in the US at all.
  6. Sure, treat them the same. They are making sacrifices for their countries and that is very commendable. Still makes the statement that they are protecting freedom and rights in the US while fighting in Iraq....well bullshit. Serving in the military is not the same as protecting rights and freedom in the US.
  7. Are you claiming there was no bailout or stimilus package approved by Bush?
  8. Wasn't a large part of all the stimilus funding approved under Bush?
  9. I agree, but your comment was bail out for executives. I merely pointed out it saved jobs as well. Personally I think more of that money should have gone to infrastructure programs.
  10. I completely agree. That still doesn't mean he is fighting to protect rights and freedom in the US. Just means he is fighting for the US.
  11. The comments were based one personal income tax, not corporate tax. There is no evidence cutting taxes is good for the economy. (that's not sarcasm btw) Jobs help the economy, even when they are union jobs.
  12. Cutting taxes doesn't help when people are unemployed. Cutting taxes doesn't work to stimilate the economy on any long term basis. With the bail out of a bunch of executives, as you call it, a bunch of workers had their jobs protected as well. The failure of Wal Street would have put you well beyond Greece.
  13. No, I'm telling you he likes to make out and hold hands with Saudi princes like they were his gay lover. But that you are right and that bowing is significantly worse.
  14. Or a texan arguing the kids he shot in the back really were a threat to his life.
  15. Right...nothing about how Iraq threatened the rights and freedoms in the US.
  16. the question was: "He let them?" The answer is: he was told of the threat and did nothing, so yes, he let them. Then there are the excuses for the inaction, some are valid, some are clear mistakes.
  17. I agree, but those are the easy cases. What if he really wanted it to be true and didn't listen to any arguments to the contrary What if he was told he was wrong, but he chose not to verify it for himself. When you know you have plausible deniability, are you wrong or are you lying? The original question seems so easy, yet is so difficult.
  18. That link is blocked for me at work, so unfortunately, I cannot respond.
  19. Yup. But I am willing to listen to some one explain to me how Iraq was a threat to freedom and rights in the US. Quite frankly, I think American actions in Iraq have made the threat against freedom and rights in the US greater, not smaller.
  20. They do. Overall tax cuts are about the worst thing the US could do right now. You need more money, not less money.
