Some advise for the GOP in a changing world
SkyDekker replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
For a party that is supposed to be big on personal responsibility and claims that those who haven't succeeded, just haven't worked hard enough. For a party like that, they are sure quick to blame others for their own failures. ------------------------------------------------- Get a fucking clue. Obama is STILL blaming GWB for the economy. Your rose colored glasses need a new prescription. Your argument is: But they do it as well? That's a real strong display of being responsible for your OWN actions. -
Considering I have voted both liberal and conservative in the past, I like to think that bias is small. Now, the Canadian version of conservatism might still be considered as socialist by many American Republicans.

Some advise for the GOP in a changing world
SkyDekker replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
One of the reasons the Canadian PM has such a tight, tight leash on his Members of Parliament and most if not all communication has to go through the PM's Office. He has realized that in the past, stupid statements sank his party. -
Holy fuck that's funny... Hey buddy, I'll give you a little hint, you should have read the box at the bottom, which is about the author: Drew is a four year Navy vet who hasn't quite got the hang of civilian life yet. Occasionally he wakes up in the middle of the night and stares at a blank screen with the lights off. He tries stand up comedy every once in a while and is a huge nerd. Please tell me that you also emailed people and posted this on Facebook

Some advise for the GOP in a changing world
SkyDekker replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
Of course, those who did ask what they can do for their country got sent of to die, so a white guy could feel better than his daddy. (I mean if we are going to post simplified bullshit, we might as well give it from both sides) -
And whites voted in droves for the white candidate. Love the undertone of racism. Let the posts of, but I have black friends begin.....

Thank you for repeating it so succinctly. I have bolded the part you are building your strawman on. Unless of course, you truly believe qualified and viable mean the same thing. Now, it could be that you are both right, that one is more qualified and the other more viable. A position I find myself leaning to, but where would the fun be in that?

Will the results of the election really matter?
SkyDekker replied to skydiver30960's topic in Speakers Corner
Because all those outsiders finance your country. Many of those countries provide military bases, so your military machine and defense contractors can continue to flex. Because even though Americans think they are the best thing since sliced bread and don't need anybody, the facts point in a different direction -
Yes, because there have been no lay offs in the public sector. Your post is so full of political spin and political hatred, it isn't even worth discussing. When you can handle more than: "Liberal bad, conservative good", then it will be good to have a discussion.

After we win this election it's our turn, it's payback time...
SkyDekker replied to Anvilbrother's topic in Speakers Corner
The first sentence of that post is already misleading at best and plain wrong at worst. You have been shown to just blindly cut and paste without any form of fact checking Why would anybody put any effort into discussing what you post, when you cannot even put any effort in before posting? -

Yup, I married my new ex-wife on that date
-
You have created quite the little strawman, trying to get answer to questions never posed and irrelevant to the original statement.
-
Or some self proclaimed expert rambling on a blog. We no longer question the sanity of our opinion, we only question the sanity of those who do not share it.
-
Your math makes no sense. You are comparing apples to oranges and then drawing conclusions from that.

Doesn't surprise me. I only checked the first one...figured the rest were bullshit too and had no interest in looknig it up. -

Uhmm executive order 10990 is from the 60's and establishes the Federal Safety Council. You really need to do some actual thinking before just cutting and pasting, as hard as that may be -
Congrats....nothing like that feeling of being proud of your child...

Lmao....more funny stuff.

Lmao...that's some funny shit.

I just read this and it is hard to argue with
SkyDekker replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
Diligent doesn't sell. I get tired of people blaming the press, when it is your own population that is to blame. Capitalism disctates that companies will evolve to survive. "The Press" is owned by companies, those companies demand a positive NOI. To gain a positive NOI, the companies need to sell advertising. For anybody to be interested in advertising, the company needs ratings. It needs people tow atch their channel. How does one get the populace to watch their channel. Well, you need something that they want to watch. Are you seeing where this is going? Stop blaming "the press", the system is working as it is supposed to work. What is it the kids like to say....dont hate da playa, hate da game... -
That obviously depends on the political affiliation of Grandma.
-
It's not sad, it's human nature. Almost everybody does the same thing.
-
Holding some one in high regard and politics are two different things. Like I said...he'll give them more money and toys. Bread and circuses.
-
I think the military should just decide who will be president. (Actually i don't understand why Americans are so interested in who military people would vote for. I'll tell you who they vote for...whomever gives them more money)
