Then you would be wrong. An outrageous act by moral cowards, I would call that, to threaten someone in such a fashion. I hope you agree. mh . I think that sending death threats is indeed abysmal and a coward's act. I don't agree with you this has to do with individual rights. You go in business, you have to accept the rules surrounding business. IMHO, refusing to cater a gay wedding is retarded. Sending the pizzeria death threats because they have stated they would decline to cater a gay wedding is retarded to. Quite frankly, the fact a law would be required to force people to not discriminate against people is retarded. But then there are a lot of retarded people.

Senator Feinstein wants to ban a 45 year old book

Because by discussing things we learn and adapt...well some of us.

An individual's rights end when they infringe on another person's rights. As a public business, and owner does not have the right to refuse service to a class of people. Doing so infringes on their rights. If the baker/pizza guy/photographer doesn't want to interact with the public (all of the public) as a public business, they he doesn't have to. Once they open their doors to the public, they have to treat everyone equally. Even under threat of death? That's what these conscientious objectors to the Culture Wars are being subjected to by the intolerant. mh . Yet somehow I have this feeling that you aren't as upset by the death threats made to a private business owner in this case: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/02/maryland-smart-gun_n_5255104.html Should I set up a gofundme.com site so you can show your outrage?

Thank you for taking the bait to show that your argument is being driven by emotion, which is exactly what derek was trying to point out. There is a price to be paid for everything, including the easy availability of guns. -

No, I get your point completely. I have made the same point here before. Sandy Hook is the price you pay for your 2nd amendment. That doesn't mean you just have to accept the price and move on. Like you say, in skydiving a price is paid as well. Yet we still try and regulate to some degree. We don't just shrug our shoulders and go, meh, just the price we pay. -
Except that it isn't about individual rights. When you do business, you give up some of those rights. You don't want to do that, you have the right not to do business. As an individual you have the right to chose not to interact with black people. As a business, you do not have that right. This really has nothing to do with individual rights.

I answered your question. I asked you some simple questions in return. -

This wasn't the result of regulations. This was a business deciding to carry a gun with an additional safety measure. The fear was that bringing attention to such a product might lead to legislation therefor it had to be opposed immediately. This almost put the gun store out of business. The result is that the market for any type of safety improvent to guns is effectively zero. Gun purchasers set the market. -

The only way to get to 0/day is to take away all the cars. How many lives would that cost per day? More than 90, I'm sure. Derek V Strawman. Regardless you also don't have any backup for the "More than 90" claim. Plus, the comparison is assinine as previously laid out. -

None are acceptable. How many rapes per day are acceptable to you? How many toddlers shooting their mothers per month are acceptable to you? How many times is it acceptable for you to beat your wife? -

I don't, that's why I believe in tougher regulations to obtain a driver's license. and tougher penalties on the abuse of the driving privilidges. I believe that allowing young people to drive at 16 and not drink until 21 has a negative influence on car accident rates as well. Generally though the crowd in favour of gun ownership tends to be against any type of safety regulation. I mean a gunshop announcing it would carry biometric guns received death threats. To the point where they had to drop the biometric gun to try and stay in business. So as much regulations there are to try and improve the safety of automobile operation, there is even more pressure against any form of safety regulation when it comes to guns. In other words, the comparison really is pretty damn assinine. -

Where on the pyramid are people who say there is no global warming, but that there is warming globally? I am not criticizing his grammar or spelling....I am criticizing his inability to explain his logic beyond posting links from whatsupwiththat.com. And when he gets challenged he comes with statements along the lines of: Nature does what nature does. The sun goes up and the sun goes down. The tide ebbs and flows. Then when you ask what the hell that means, he says stuff like: Not my fault you don't know how nature works. Quite frankly I think his grammar and spelling are the best of his shown abilities.

The part that kinda sorta implies that poor ole Mr. Wholesome Pizza Guy gets inundated with all these catering requests from rainbow weddings, and he just has to fight them off. As if. Is that why all these donations are being made? To offset the lost income from the gay weddings he was forced to cater until this law was signed?
-
nature or natural? Fuck...now I get it.....you meant that there is no natural global warming, but there is global warming in nature.
-
I guess when you run out of links to post we must do with wonderful insightful statements like this.
-
So it has been warming globally. Even though in your title you say there is no global warming? So from the first post you go from, there has been no increase in 18 years and 4 months to now stating there is an increase, but it is natural. Those two are mutually exclusive. Sounds like you don't really know what to believe without some website telling you. What's up with that? Go dance with yourself There has not been any warming for nearly twenty years acording to the most accurate sat data we have Clear enough? No, then why say that the warming is natural?

No, that is not what he said. What he said was that it depends on the data set whether it is the warmest year or not. He already admitted it was warmer. So, how do you reconcile that with your claim in the title that there is no global warming for 18 years and 4 months? How can that be the issue if you claim there is no global warming?
