The honest answer is that I have no idea. From the few high stress situations I have been in, I can tell you I reacted differently. So, I cannot draw any firm conclusion from that. Other than that what you think you would do and what you actually do aren't always the same.

Rush, the statement was made that the school was a gun free zone. The counter statement was that the school isn't a gun free zone. Concealed carry is allowed on the campus grounds, but is not allowed in the buildings. Once you and turtle figured out you were both wrong, turtle did the smart thing and just went silent. You have been moving goal posts, including trying to move the university to Iowa. So, I'll say it again. the school is not a gun free zone. Concealed carry is allowed on the grounds, but is not allowed in the buildings. That's not part of a law you are quoting rush. It is a statement by the author of the article. Basic concepts seem very difficult for you.

No I have said many times that is correct. Just as correct that concealed carry is allowed on the campus grounds. Are you denying that concealed carry is allowed on the campus grounds?

We are talking about Oregon, not Iowa. Just simply answer the question: Are you denying that Oregon state law allows concealed carry license holders to carry on campus grounds of public schools?

Modest growth and steady hiring are pretty good indicators of an economy in recovery. Aren't you denying that such a recovery is taking place?

I think all legal residents, regardless of DNA deserve equal rights when dealing with the government. I don't however believe that should be extended to private businesses or citizens nor in this day and age is it needed. It isn't extended to private citizens first of all. So you are already 50% there. It is still required in this day and age.

Inside buildings...but they are allowed on campus, which is what I said. So, if they are allowed on campus grounds, then it is clearly not a "gun free zone". Unless of course this is a private school. Let's see how you and rush now try to move the goal posts.

If this is a public school then concealed carry on the grounds of the school is expressly authorized by law. Um, no. The school only allows certain people to carry. Doesn't matter what the school allows. Like I said, if it is a public school, then under Oregon law concealed carry license holders are allowed to carry on campus. Pretty sure state law trumps school policy. If a private school, then the school can set its own rules.

That's impossible. When you lower taxes, revenues go up. Republicans have been saying that for decades. How come this didn't hapen in a Republican state? You guys all closet socialists or something?

There are many examples of this not being the case. In recent history in the US? Recent history would be less representative, since more regulation is in place. White only restaurants don't exist because of regulation, not because of free market or the good of society.

I thought gun ownership reduced crime. There are many more legal guns in circulation, so shouldn't crime rates be going down significantly? Secondly, Your argument seems to basically be that cops have stopped doing their jobs and it is the fault of the public that they are not doing their jobs? I doubt you would let a thief off the hook if he said he only did it because society has not allowed him to flourish. Me too, every time I get on a motorcycle or a bicycle. Interestingly enough, I haven't started pre-emptivly shooting them, because I too would like to go home after my ride.

Not sure why people seem to think it is the government's job to create a economic market they are comfortable in. Your business market changed, adapt or die is really the only principle at work.
