Conservative Opinion on Election from England
SkyDekker replied to RonD1120's topic in Speakers Corner
Strong come back, with examples and reasoning and everything. -
Still don't quite understand how your logic works. You agree that the information released influenced voters. There is absolutely no doubt that the Russians hacked them to get that information. There is indeed unanimous support for that in your intelligence agencies. How can you then loudly proclaim the Russians had nothing to do with it and didn't sway the election?

Maybe, but the law blames the thief.

Conservative Opinion on Election from England

Logic isn't your strong suit is it? Best selling and readability or even whether or not the book is read have nothing to do with each other. The bible is the most sold book in the world. Not very readable and many people who own a bible have never read it cover to cover. It does show that your ranting is probably significantly more ideology driven than fact and logic driven. -

Not for the NRA and the gun/ammo industry. But great for the gun owner/citizen. You said we can all agree. Just pointing out that clearly we cannot all agree on this subject. -

You did not count correctly. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_elections_by_Electoral_College_margin See, I told you education doesn't make you smart.

That's great, but I am not sure what I should live off the other 3 quarters of the year? Ahh So you are a 1%er who would do well under the Obama policies. Some of you comments now makes some sense. I am definitely a 1% yes. But Obama's policy really have little influence on that one way or the other. Remains to be seen if Trump's will. I am much more affected by what happens in Canadian politics. Unfortunately we elected a Drama Teacher which hasn't helped much. Though I Would keep Trudeau over Trump, I would much prefer a Canadian conservative at the helm. All to say that as usual, you are mostly wrong.

And yet so few ride horses and shoot bow and arrow. Uh, you do realize that the natives here had never seen horses until they were brought over by those illegal immigrants from Europe, right? That's what assimilation is all about...a little of this and a little of that

You're funny. Clinton won California without trying. Of course she knew it didn't matter how much she won by, and that the popular vote didn't matter. That's why she didn't campaign in California Or Wisconsin When do we get a "like" button here? That is only on real news websites like Facebook

Who here is whining? Everybody agrees that Trump won your election. The majority of the people just wanted somebody else.

Yup. Gun stocks took a nose dive after the lection. Hard to tell people the government is going to take all their guns away with an R in office. On the flip side, there appears to be more gun purchases amongst liberals. -
What are you talking about? There can be nothing more magnanimous that creating a nonprofit to support those who were emotionally scarred by this past election! Did you even watch the video? Actually there can be. Like the Trump kids setting up a brand new non-profit to sell access to their father for $1,000,000. Of course after screaming all election how evil Clinton was for supposedly doing this.

Dems...what is it that scares you about Trump?
SkyDekker replied to airdvr's topic in Speakers Corner
Trump is going to have his own personal, private security force.... I think I have heard of this before in history..... http://www.salon.com/2016/12/20/donald-trumps-goon-squad-as-president-trump-will-maintain-private-security-force-to-crack-down-on-protest/ -
Of course the Dutch are still a little upset bout the airliner the Russian brought down over Ukraine.
-
Prime example of the new normal. Doing what is best for constituency is far secondary to fucking over your opposing party.
-
Trump got himself elected by telling lie after lie after lie. His supporters would simply not believe he was lying when so told. They would even show up and start shooting in a pizza restaurant, because they flat out believe that Clinton is running a child slavery ring out of the basement. Flat out lying doesn't have negative consequences, as long as your story is ripe for the masses, it will have wonderful consequences, the best consequences.

Couldn't agree with you more Winsor.

Nuance in response to: "it doesn't sound like spin, so it must be true"?

So as a liberal someone needs to die to qualify for your empathy? Red herring. You are drawing the idiotic parallel, nobody else. Never mind that the jab was at current coal workers. -

Yes because getting killed and losing your job are equivalent. -
Other countries have been messing in US elections for decades? One you said you fully agreed with. Hence the question.
-
So you agree that the Russian interfered... From your article: And those who complain that another nation tried to interfere with your election process is of no concern to you?
