Donald Trump paid Russian hookers for golden showers?
SkyDekker replied to skinnay's topic in Speakers Corner
You cant make this shit up unless you hate Trump and are in the media THEN you can make this shit up http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/buzzfeed-runs-error-laden-unverifiable-trump-russia-claim/ You know lifezette.com is owned by a major Trump campaign donor right? That's what is what I was saying in my earlier post. The wonderful irony of it all. -

I do like how Trump declared it FAKE NEWS on twitter and than linked to some site very few people have heard of, but is owned by a major campaign donor. -
Yes, but those are details. Details and facts are no longer important.

Wonder if Obama will have hookers over to piss in the bed?

Here is the 35 page document referenced in that article: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3259984-Trump-Intelligence-Allegations.html Its interesting but at the moment, that's all it is until there is some corroboration of the claims. Don't be like the rushMC's of the world who believe everything they are fed. Some of the report sounds credible, some sounds sensationalised - which makes me think it could easily be fake news. If thats the case, there is no need. Trump is doing enough to torpedo himself without making shit up. I agree. At this point it isn't even confirmed if that report is the basis of the CNN reporting. Their reporting is based on a former MI6 operative, whose previous work has been deemed credible.

Now it is starting to make a bit more sense. We already know that Trump is very easily manipulated, specially when his ego is on the line: http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/10/politics/donald-trump-intelligence-report-russia/

Yup, that about sounds like the new America.

Governing is different from knee-jerk opposition.

I recently heard about an insane example of this. Medicare will pay for a kidney transplant (about $100,000), but by law they can cover the anti-rejection drugs needed to keep the kidney viable for only three years. After that the patient has to come up with as much as $950/month for the co-pay for anti-rejection drugs. Medicare pays about $15,000/year for the anti-rejection drugs. Medicare also pays the full cost for dialysis (about $90,000/year) with no limit on the duration of treatment. Dialysis requires 3 sessions of 3-4 hours each/week, making it difficult for patients to hold down a regular job. So patients with failed kidneys get dialysis ($90,000/year) until a kidney becomes available at which time they receive a transplant ($100,000) and drugs for three years ($15,000/yr x 3 = $45,000). At the end of three years many patients cannot afford the anti-rejection drugs, even if they have insurance, as the co-pay is so high. So they skip doses to make the drugs go farther, which doesn't work and trhe kidney is rejected, or they just stop taking the drugs altogether and let the kidney fail. Then they go back on dialysis ($90,000/yr) until a new transplant is available and start the process all over again. In other words, to prevent so-called "freeloaders" from getting their anti-rejection drugs for "free" (costing taxpayers $15,000/yr) the government would prefer to pay $90,000/yr for dialysis and perhaps another $100,000 for another transplant. Also you can factor in that people on dialysis generally can't work because they have to spend so much time getting dialysis treatment, so they are not paying taxes and are often also collecting disability payments. On the other hand after a successful transplant people don't need dialysis and so they can work and pay taxes. Cutting people off from the drugs they need to keep their transplant viable is beyond stupid, it is insane! Don Public health care is to health care what public housing is to housing. Says the guy who can afford health care in the US. Canadian public health care is pretty decent. Is it as good as the best US health care I can spend fortunes on? No. Is it better than average care in the US? Yes. -
People actually asking questions like this is how Trump got elected.

"Trump Promises a Revelation on Hacking" -- NYT
SkyDekker replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
OK, but reality here - he won't be. He will have the numeric advantage; he can tweet far faster than anyone can question him. And that's assuming he allows questioning - so far his strategy is to just refuse to answer most questions. So get set for strings of rambling, often nonsensical tweets. Other people are preparing for this; I recently read a story (can't find it now) that describes how companies like Google now have someone awake all night monitoring his tweets, so that if Trump tweets "Google refuses to support American values; SAD!" they can wake the executives to start damage control sooner rather than later. No need to pay a person to stay awake, there is an app for that: http://www.businessinsider.com/triggers-helps-you-trade-stocks-on-trumps-tweets-2017-1 -
That's how the academic version of capitalism works yes. That's the theory. Reality has shown it doesn't, over and over again. A great example of fake news you post here. Is that supposed to be an insult? Even that you screw up. Insult? No Fact. You now think a comment on a message board is equivalent to news; fake or not. You are one bizarre individual.

Actually the larger the entity, the less it works that way. In reality that is.

Sadly, knowing your subject matter will make you an elitist "expert" who is "part of the problem" This! People with education should not be trusted, they are all part of the problem. What is being created is a mass of people blindly following authority, Trump in this case.

Hannity Interviews Assange - Fox News, Tuesday, Jan 3

Of course in February of 2011 you called Assange a civilian traitor. Are you prone to having a lot of confidence and faith in traitors? -

What's up first on the agenda of the new Congress?

Right. Except the news was correct at the time. Even the title was correct at the time. It just wasn't favourable of your particular party affiliation, so clearly the journalists should be blamed. -

He does, apparently. And he probably thinks his credibility is higher because he knows the word count of his posts. -

Let's reserve the term "fake news" for stories which are actually fake. The headline wasn't "fake," just poorly written. I don't think so. Using terms like "gutted" is unnecessary. Why? That is effectively what it would have done. How would you have written the headline? -

Well, your "logic reasoning" is as immaculate and smooth as … let’s see, I’ll use a favourite novel I haven’t read in awhile. How about Mikhail Sholokhov’s Pulitzer Prize-winning And Quiet Flows the Don? I wouldn’t recommend trying it in the original first time. My final exam in college was based on it, but there’s so much archaic Russian vernacular that I really struggled. It's fun dipping into occasionally nowadays but I've forgotten so much vocabulary I need a dictionary at my elbow. There are, however, some excellent English translations. Have a look and you’ll see it’s as smooth as your "logic reasoning". Just a suggestion. See how much effort you put into that. Now put the same effort into explaining how sales numbers prove readability as you claimed for your own work. -

How very knowledgeable you are. When I'm not working on one of my own projects, Helion and Osprey hire me as a freelance copy editor. You do know what a copy editor is, right? Right? Send 'em your manuscript and it might end up on my screen. As you're undoubtedly aware, we like to know the word count. As a professional wordsmith you'll have the number on the tip of your tongue. Excellent. Your logic reasoning still sucks though. So you have a way with words, but your message makes no sense. Mind you, in today's world the packaging is more important than the contents. -
Just how does approving the Keystone XL pipeline cause rivers to ignite? This hyperbolic, "the sky is falling," rhetoric, is just one of the many reasons I laugh at lefties. How in the world do you ever expect to be taken seriously. Without regulation how do you prevent this timelapse from being shot in New York, Chicago, or LA in the next couple of years? https://gfycat.com/UnevenZealousBurro
