  1. Most of us are smart enough to know what the words mean. What we would like to know is what that means with regards to policy and practical implementation. There is a current vetting system in place. One that has really worked quite well. What improvements are going to be made that will have the vetting reach a higher degree?
  2. Mein Kampf was never illegal in Germany. "Publicly displaced Nazi iconography was systematically destroyed by the occupying allies at the end of the war, and today, the German criminal code prohibits the public use of a symbol of any “political party which has been declared unconstitutional by the Federal Constitutional Court.” This includes the swastika, the Nazi salute, and several other symbols of the Third Reich. Punishments can range from fines to up to three years in prison. Mein Kampf and other Nazi propaganda works are also banned. Slate.com JUNE 24 2015 Possession of "Mein Kampf" was not 'banned' per some sources, and its publication was recently authorized by Bavaria. It seems to depend somewhat on who you ask, and my limited experience with German authorities indicates that, if they say something is illegal, arguing the issue is a bad career move. Come to think of it, that seems to apply pretty much across the board. You are still wrong. Owning, buying or selling Main Kampf was never illegal in Germany. The state of Bavaria owned the copyright and in an agreement with the federal government did not allow the copyright to be used by anybody. The copyright expired after 70 years. Quoting Slate doesn't change any of that.
  3. And if they decide to start trading oil in a different currency....
  4. Agreed. The stance the US has taken will increase resentment and will lead to more, mostly youth radicalization.
  5. What kind of bullshit reasoning is that? If Exxon without tax breaks would have to pay $690 billion in income tax and now they pay $30 billion, you would argue they get shitty tax breaks because they pay $30 billion?
  6. I wasn't far from that mosque last weekend. Not that it has much to do with anything. Sounds like 2 students from a nearby University, at least that is what the report is now. Both arrested. Hatred appears to be everywhere and it just breeds more hatred.
  7. Funny you think you and Rush would be in the centre.
  8. Bullshit. Trump commented prior to the inauguration how this event was going to be the yuuuuge. Trump commented (lied) about how all the DC stores were out of dresses. etc. etc. etc. Trump made the size of the crowd at the inauguration a story long before the picture was posted.
  9. Thankfully you took firm action, so that somebody with those traits could not become president.
  10. Against who? There isn't a sane person out there who thinks the crowd for Trump's inauguration was bigger. Nor does it matter...at all....except for your President's ego and I guess based on this....yours.
  11. Did YOU see the NEW CNN photo? I only post to yours so it is saved I mean, you speaking of intellect, correct? http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2017/01/politics/trump-inauguration-gigapixel/ CNN isn't on the approved Trump media list. You will be reported and investigated for subversive actions against the leader.... With slightly less jest: you sure change your mind quickly on which sources can be trusted and which sources cannot be trusted. Other people have already pointed out why the picture doesn't say what you think it does. But then, you are FAMOUS on here for posting things that show the exact opposite of what you think they do.
  12. Not like hacking accounts has been an issue..... https://thenextweb.com/politics/2017/01/26/trump-staffers-insecure-email-gmail/
  13. FAKE NEWS Must have been a false flag operation by paid Trump operatives.
  14. I posted the article years back that disproves what you say here. He threatened NASA employees. Considering your record on dz.com with regards to posting articles that state the exact opposite of what you think they do. And your record of providing "proof" from pretty questionable sources, all that can be said: So low energy. Sad! FAKE NEWS.
  15. Considering the US invaded a country based on mostly fabricated intelligence, I have no doubt voter fraud can be "clearly established" if that is required.
  16. Or burning Obama effigies hanging from a noose.
  17. Trump has announced an investigation into voter fraud. I will call it now and say that this investigation will "find" massive voter fraud. Will probably form the basis of a national ID law or something along those lines.
  18. That miniature park, Madurdam is right between my mother's house and my High School. Used to bike by there pretty much every day.
  19. "Pop Goes the World" by Men Without Hats The Trumps danced to Frank Sinatra's My Way at one of the inaugural balls. Sounds fitting. The opening two lines are indeed fitting: And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain
  20. I understand you are more on the right wing of things, so are probably used to being told what to think and what your opinion should be. But the article is right at the link and snopes is but a google search away. Probably a good time to start forming your own opinions.
  21. From what I see it was reasonably accurate, which is quite a feat considering all the variables. Why do you say it was wrong? How close should the forecast have been for you to call it right? What margin of error would have been acceptable for you?
  22. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and think the content of that article changed. But it is now identified as a hoax in that article. Snopes lists it as unproven. You are so gullible when it comes to "news" you agree with.
  23. The Russians didn't steal political secrets. It stole Democratic Party secrets. One sided. It did so to influence the US Political system. So different intent and different circumstances. Really not similar to what Manning did. I am not saying that I necessarily agree with the commutation, but the situation is vastly different. I agree with not pardoning Snowden. manning faced trial etc, Snowden just ran. There is a significant difference again.
  24. Same with me in Toronto. I have crossed paths with coyotes and deer in the middle of the city...
