How do Americans keep electing people like this?
-
This whole things must be a clear sign that there is a satan right Ron? Those shiftless thug negroes coming out and telling the fine white evangelicals that child molestation really isn't admirable. Something like that can only be satan's work! I mean come on, what is a little child molestation amongst good god fearing friends? Specially since the statute of limitations has passed.

I am no defender of Roy Moore, but there is absolutely no evidence that he is a pedophile. He is certainly an alleged child molester, but accusations of pedophilia never entered the fray. This clearly should not be taken as some kind of indication that one is more serious or heinous than the other. Simple a reminder that words have meanings. If the rule is to be that there are to be no jokes about or any reference to child molestation, then the rule needs to be amended.
-
Roy Moore also believes that America was great when there was still slavery. As a country you are certainly not showing your best side.

Somehow the inbred idiots who follow christ have convinced themselves that a grown man getting a blowjob is horrific and a display of evil. Yet a grown man molesting children is a fine example of christian values. I mean Joseph and Mary...right. But the Liberals, those are evil. They want to give people healthcare. That is some evil and scary shit. All while feeling self righteous hiding behind some imaginary thing. That way they don't have to take responsibility for anything they do or say. Some "greater being" made them do it.

He used his position of power to take advantage of a younger, much more vulnerable individual. Or...he lacked the moral fortitude to know his actions were wrong...and when faced with overwhelming evidence he lied about it. Looks like Al will be thrown on the bonfire much the same as the others...all deservedly so. Have you commented in the Moore thread? Anyways, what Franken did was definitely wrong. Seems like he has apologized and it would appear the apology has been accepted. I see quite a difference between how Franken is dealing with this and how for instance Trump and Moore have dealt with their accusers.

No, I frankly don't know what to think, except that he is damaged goods regardless. We have a couple in our church that have been married over 60 years. He was an 18YO from AL and she was a 15YO from south GA. I suspect they were dating when she was 14. Such was not uncommon back in the day. I realize that is not the same situation but 14YOs are looked upon differently in the Deep South. Sometimes they are even cousins. It isn't uncommon now. The US still has massive amounts of child brides. Estimates are around 200,000 in the last 5 year period. Of course in the US it is a great thing, when it is done in islamic countries it is barbaric /s Lastly, Moore has now been described on here a couple of times as a pedophile. There is no evidence to suggest so far this is the case. Pedophiles are sexually attracted to pre-pubescent children. Moore likes his victims pubescent it would seem. Moore's continued support is another fine example of how great America is!

Looks like things are about to get interesting again. KSA has basically deposed the Lebanese PM. He was called for by the Saudi Prince, resigned after meeting him and hasn't returned to Lebanon. Another Sunni/Shiite proxy war coming up.....

You realize that you closed with a rhetorical question, yes? I am not seeking to embarrass you. I am simply trying to illustrate for you, in my own peculiar way and according to my own peculiar views, that you are somewhat delusional on the subject of guns and their daily utility. I also hold that your delusion is, in some degree, caused by your faith that a spirit figure will guide your aim in a church full of screaming, panicking people. The problem is that the bastard who killed all of those innocents was also comfortable bringing his gun to church. The problem is that it is all too easy to get guns and that's why this damnable plague of mass shootings seems to have no end. The problem is that we have bump stocks and convertible AR-15's being sold in parking lots and high magazine capacity Glock's being carried openly on the streets of America. The problem is that too many people, owing to their own selfish self-interest, have bought into the good guy with a gun myth. The problem is that a certain large number of gun rights folks are terrified of giving an inch on anything. Well, I’m a gun rights guy but I am not freaked out about regulation and I don’t see a reason to go to prayer with a pistol in my pocket. Seriously, have you or has anyone you know that carries a concealed weapon, at church or no, ever needed it to stop a mass shooting or for an after the fact take down? Let's lower the bar to stopping a candy bar theft. How about using it for any legitimate reason? In response to your last question, yes. We have several LEOs and former combat vets in our congregation. But, like I stated at the beginning. We think differently over here than you people out there. Looks like white vets are a lot more deadly than brown terrorists. No wonder you guys need your guns with you at all times.

Oh there are some gems to be found on reddit. Here is one, sourced and all, indicating that republicans and democrats really aren't all the same when it comes to politics. https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/787fdh/after_gold_star_widow_breaks_silence_trump/dornc4n/

Who is she? I am not one for conspiracy theories, but her story is certainly interesting. Specially considering any information in the JFK files is still being held back for national security reasons.
-
I think we will see more of these releases to try and take attention away from arrests.
-
Looks like all information related to Dorothy Kilgallen is still classified....

Only in the world of the "touchy/feely" liberals. I was taught that "sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me." That goes along with being personally responsible. Nowadays most are looking for someone or something to blame. That is social weakness IMO. Considering you actively went after a dropzone.com member's livelihood based purely on the words written we all know you are full of shit when you say these things.

OH!..great... Psychologists march through NY to call for Trump's removal http://thehill.com/homenews/news/355490-psychologists-march-through-ny-to-call-for-trumps-removal "Trump’s underlying fear that he is worthless and weak by how intensely he resists and retaliated against any criticism,” and "He has no empathy." As you are undoubtedly aware those are the same psychological characteristics of many mass murders. In this country such individuals cannot be treated before they commit violence unless they voluntarily seek treatment. You can't lock someone up just because they appear to be sociopathic, psychopathic or empathic. You can if they are brown. You even get a presidential pardon if the courts happen to disagree.
-
Oh, are you psychiatrist? When did you get that degree? Last time you were a counsellor.
-
Quote from Skydekker: "christians who live in the mountains" Determined by him: " are criminals who like to rape women and beat their children" I am a Christian, live in the north GA mountains, surrounded by immigrant Christians, mostly from FL, and well to do locals. That isn't what I determined, that is what I gave as an example.
-
Usually by deviation from their baseline profile. Black and a hoodie isn't it. Unless you are an incredible racist scared of your own shadow.
-
I generally agree with you. The differing point for me is that Trump started this story by claiming how he called them all and his predecessors did not. He started this shitshow by making the story all about him....as usual.
-
When I start the conversation with all christians who live in the mountains are criminals who like to rape women and beat their children, I am sure you would love to continue and converse.
-
Good talk. Derek V Not really. The talk with you on this subject follows the same path each time. You pretend you want to have an open and honest conversation about the matter. Then when you talk yourself into a corner you say: 2nd amendment, nana nanana. Not sure why you would think people would continue to try and have a decent conversation with you....
-
I don't, it is an educated guess based on your postings. You are obviously free to now lie about all the loved ones that were murdered in mass shootings and how thankful you are they died for your "freedom".
-
I wasn't targeting mass murders, just gun deaths in general. Bio-metrics would help with that. The gun lobby has been extremely active preventing that from happening. To the point of death threats to gun store owners willing to carry them.
