  1. 9 Months is nothing. They sent a lady to prison for 5 years because she didn't realize she wasn't allowed to vote while on parole.
  2. This is the typical "brilliance" of a Trump supporter. 2 years of investigation with guilty plea, indictment, felony charges etc etc and the answer is "so what?" But, Hillary must be guilty of something, doesn't matter what any investigation to the contrary says. Doesn't matter if there is any evidence. Amazingly roughly a third of the US exhibits this level of "brilliance". Maybe spend a bit less money killing people and a bit more money educating people.
  3. Thank you for proving my point, that at the state and municipal level the US is close to a third world country, with many supporting these mentalities.
  4. Why is a woman getting arrested for showing a boob in the first place? Has the US succumbed to Sharia Law, cause this seems to really only take place in predominantly Muslim countries.
  5. I am assuming you are in favour of compensation for the children and families involved in the parkland shooting? I am assuming you are in favour of compensation for the families of the children killed at Sandy Hook? I am assuming you are in favour of compensation for all black people, whose ancestors have endured systemic, state sponsored racism? I am assuming you are in favour of a certain pizza joint getting compensation? The list goes on and on.
  6. Absolutely disgusting....Anybody involved in this should rot in jail.
  7. More evidence that at the State and Municipal level the US is pretty close to a third world country.
  8. That is an Op-Ed by The Heartland Institute and the International Climate Science Coalition. Both are known denier groups who tend to look for confirmation of their own bias.
  9. Good. Trying to use racism to better yourself is abhorrent.
  10. Yeah that isn't even close to being the same thing.
  11. The fact that this actually had to be a court case shows that the US at the state and municipal level is often not far removed from third world countries.
  12. If you think those variables alone would calculate ROI then yes, I guess it would be.
  13. Top bracket marginal tax rates in Scandinavian countries aren't very different from the US. Sales taxes are significantly higher Gross incomes are higher Minimum income is higher
  14. Pay to play for what? Isn't unemployment at historic lows? Wouldn't this drive up housing costs? Transportation costs? Why do you think that all 25,000 would make $150,000? According to glassdoor VPs at Amazon make between $160,000 to $200,000. So my guess is the average salary will be much closer to $80,000. lastly, your calculation would imply 25,000 net new employment. That assumption is just......bizarre.
  15. Your "article" starts with a quote that is more than 2 years old and wrong. Then it goes on with a 10 year old survey that suggests scientists are skeptical of current models to accurately predict global temperatures. Then it ties it all together with a supposed list of over 30,000 signatures. Of those only 0.5% are scientists with a background in climatology or atmospheric science. And you wonder why it isn't being taken seriously?
  16. Yeah, a politician objecting to giving $1,000,000,000 to one of the wealthiest corporations around is indeed shocking. I can see why you would want to make fun of that.
  17. It is on a meme on the internet and likely stolen from r/the_donald. How much more credible do you need?
  18. Smart person would remember Hillary Clinton did release her tax return. Obama released his tax returns. A smart person wouldn't get his information from a meme.
  19. If under forfeiture laws that money can rightfully be claimed by the US, how is Mexico paying for it? It would seem that in that scenario the US is still paying for a wall from money belonging to the US.
  20. Paltering is being deceitful. Using truth or facts isn't part of the definition.
  21. Wow, those are some bigly, huge issues.
  22. Yeah, but Hillary sent emails.
