    The guy giving a dig to people not knowing history and then talking about Madison signing the Declaration of Independence was priceless. I mean it wasn't even off the cuff, it was a prepared speech written from a teleprompter. Many people within the GOP would have read and vetted that speech.

    True. Letting the 17 year old murderer, illegally carrying a gun walking right by you is indeed not really enforcing the law. Giving the guy water and praising him while telling black people to get off the streets is indeed also not really enforcing laws.

    So another unarmed black man is murdered by US police. During the following peaceful protest, a white 17 year old right wing militia police supporters murders at least 1 person. While being pointed out by bystanders police just go right by him and let him go. They do nothing. Next day he is arrested without getting shot. The police was vocally supporting the presence of these right wing militias while supplying them with water. Telling them how much they appreciated them being there. The 17 year old crossed State lines to be part of this violence. He was carrying his gun illegally.     Obama created more jobs than Trump. Historically more jobs are created under Democratic presidents than under Republican presidents. Does "hard truth" relate to facts or only to the truthiness you feel in your belly?

    I only made it halfway through to be honest. The first bit is how awful everything is and how crime is incredibly high. The second bit is how you shouldn't defund the police. But as established in the first bit, funding the police clearly hasn't been working that great.

    China. Which if the team wasn't disbanded would have had American scientists working in their lab in Wuhan. Obama's administration made lots of mistakes during H1N1. They tried to make sure those mistakes would be learned from. Considering Trump's stated platform is literally to undo everything Obama did, the system implemented to try and learn and do better during the next outbreak was defunded and disbanded. Between that and Trump's unwillingness or inability to ever consider himself to be wrong has caused immense delays in response. There is absolutely no doubt thousands of people are dead because of that.

    The issue isn't with green energy, wind, water and solar can certainly produce mass amounts of electricity. The "issue" is around designing a reliable system that incorporates those energy sources. At least that is how I see it.

    That's great. Calling somebody a troll is an insult, so 2 for 2 on being insulting. I don't think Brent is a troll, I just don't think he is being intellectually honest and is opposing due to an ingrained position, not just to get a rise out of people. hence I had to explain why I didn't want to engage on his points. You decided you had to insult both of us.
