Yeah. How would that work after the explosion and subsequent bankruptcy of any companies involved? How exactly would that bring dead people back to life? I know you aren't advocating this. Just trowing some questions out there for libertarians to keep in mind.

I know. It was more commentary on the Republican desire to reduce and eliminate regulations in the US. This is a prime example of what can happen in those instances and why their position tends to be extremely short-sighted. (It also shows why libertarianism doesn't work)

Ironically these are the same people who object to liberalism because it supposedly creates a nanny state with the government deciding what is best for the population. If any group should be outraged by this it should be Republicans. If the last 4 years have shown anything, it is that Republicans and evangelicals stand for nothing. They are completely spineless.

What is happening in the US is under Trump's leadership. Trump's leadership has done absolutely nothing to reduce the tensions and actually lead to increased tensions. What you are seeing happening in the US is happening under his leadership. Voting for the same people and hoping for a different result is rather foolish. But then he did call veterans and soldiers suckers and fools. He is responsible for the death of thousands because he decided he knew better for you then to tell you the thruth about COVID. Maybe you agree with all that and find it great signs of leadership that should be repeated for another 4 years.....

Why would they vote to continue what is happening in Trump's America? If you are upset with what is happening currently, wouldn't you want to change who is currently leading the country? You think that voting for the guy that got you here is going to change it? I mean the leaps in logic required for conservatives to think that voting for the same will get different results are....well idiotic.

Prime example to show why Trump continues to have a fair bit of support. There are many people who simply cannot grasp that people would do something that isn't solely in their own best interest.

In a free market with limited regulations, that is the only way society can protect itself. What other option do you suggest? You want small government, little to no regulation and also limit the ability to sue?

Ironically you do not agree with this. You only agree with this if it suits your political view. You are like the NRA, supporting people carrying guns until black people start carrying guns. The protesting and violence you are so upset with is exactly people fighting for liberty. The liberty to be treated the same way as white people. The liberty of equality. You are not supporting this protest, this fight for liberty. Because you don't agree with that form of liberty. -

When you start caring about the law breaking on the right as much as you supposedly care about this, maybe your post wouldn't come across as some of the most self-righteous bullshit I have read in quite some time. -
For a country built on the threat of violence keeping the peace, built on violence being a solution to problems, it sure gets upset when violence is used. The 2nd Amendment specifically calls for violence and the threat of violence to keep government in line. The data is clear, the government incarcerates, targets and kills black people more than white people. Government officials are on record indicating that laws have been designed specifically to target black people. What better application for the use of the 2nd amendment is there? If violence isn't support to effect this change, then when? And if violence and the threat of violence against the government isn't supported, then why keep supporting the 2nd amendment?

New York Times Co v. Sullivan was a landmark ruling making it much, much harder for public officials to sue for defamation. This case was triggered by a full page advertisement in the NYT decrying the actions of police against mostly black civil rights protesters in 1960. So here we are 60 years later of people trying to find peaceful solutions to problems which in the 60s had already been playing for decades and decades and decades. How long do we think people can be and should be subjected to increased targeting, increased violence, increased death rates before we can understand them giving up on peaceful protest?

What I find weird is that you feel that people can take somebody''s life if they feel threatened. But people cannot be violent after decades and decades of systemic racism and unequal treatment by agents of the state. I hold life more valuable than possessions, sad to see people whole possessions more valuable than human life. -
You are showing images from Trump's America and blame it on the left.....American educated? And I would love to go through your "statement" one sentence at a time. There is only one problem, there isn't really a normal sentence in the whole thing.
