There are also ABA ethics rules, as well as the obligation to make statements in court that have a basis in truth.

They could have and it might have actually helped them. Admitting you made a mistake and promising to do better might result in a better outcome. Wouldn't be surprised if based on their "performance" they pissed off the judge enough to have the book thrown at them.

Agreed. I seem to remember from when this happened the above was not the case for this area. Though the area was frequently used a short-cut, which makes it unlike a trespassing charge would stick without having bene explicitly asked to leave. But, that doesn't change that they likely were already on private property without an invitation.

I believe the neighbourhood they were in is private and one has to pass through a gate to enter. If they were not invited, then even on the sidewalk they were technically trespassing.

You have Affirmative Action as one of your gripes in the OP. Do you believe that you have always cleared that bar? Don't think you maybe have been given some leeway along the way? You honestly 100% believe your achievements have only been based on competence and character?

There is a reason it is called Public Health and not Person Health.

Lots of dangerous old white guys in the workforce who never would have been hired or kept their jobs if it was based on competence.

I do based on what you have posted to date. If what you have posted is made up and doesn't reflect what you would really do, well then you have been trolling.

They would have if they smashed the windows and entered the white house. And you would have been cheering and high fiving and complimenting law enforcement.

Did they break in and vandalize and steal from the White House? Did they beat police with a flag pole? Did they release chemical agents? If you think this is even close to equivalent, you are more of a partisan hack than even I already thought. You are getting into "trump will be reinstated in August" territory.
