  2. Sorry, I truly have no idea. As an aside, just cuz here's where I'm posting, I've yet to see how these threads help the cause.
  3. I wonder how much money this very, very simple solution has cost people so far? Look, if it makes you feel any better, a lot of that goes to lawyers.
  4. The local watershed would return to its natural state.
  5. Are in your head Are under your bed Are brown, it is said Are in states that are red Eat our daily bread Fill wack jobs with dread Are surely not dead Are not Mr. Ed Make us laugh at your thread
  6. So that would be a war on those who war on war on wars?
  7. We can certainly pick and choose which threads to click on and which not to. This is true, and I do. As well as what forums to click on and which not to.
  8. There's certainly nothing preventing local citizens from very publicly urging Moore to recuse himself (if that hasn't been done already). The glare of public scrutiny, and all that, etc...
  9. We can certainly pick and choose which threads to click on and which not to.
  10. I went to camp as a kid. It was invigorating. Koom-ba-yah! We are all happy campers around the Bonfire. Embrace it.
  11. Kerry's swift boat issue wasn't even a blip on the radar during the pre-primary season, and I don't think during the primaries, either. Whatever whored-up filth that's going to majorly factor into a candidate sinking or swimming in 2016 probably hasn't even reared its head yet. 2-year long campaigns. What bullshit.
  12. In a nutshell (which is all I have time for): Your points are reasonable to raise for discussion, and they don't fall on deaf ears; but at the end of the day they won't win the day, and very probably won't even result in any "just go away" money being shifted into the claimant's pockets.
  13. You mean gremlins?is there a difference? Yeh, the Germans would never have invented This.
  14. We can't thank you enough.
  15. Serves him right, for slavery and Hitler and shit.
  16. I personally resent the craven plagiarizing of a seminal piece of cinematic history.
  17. You clearly misunderstand the difference between the tongue-in-cheek party and the nose-between-the-cheeks party.
  18. What about when it's our elders perpetuating the mistakes? Same thing as when the older generation, who grew up not wearing seatbelts in cars, don't wear them today: rules, social pressure and reproach, if and as needed. My mother in law was born in the 1920s. Back when my oldest daughter was a toddler I caught my MIL driving my kid around without buckling her into her car seat. That lady almost died by my hand that day. I started jumping in the 70s before any jump planes had seat belts. Even after the Beaver at our DZ crashed on takeoff with a load of jumpers in it, it never occurred to anyone to install seat belts. But I sure as hell wear them now, and would speak up if anyone else on the load tried not to.
  19. I prefer to think of it as: There's no way gay people should be allowed to escape divorce.
