  1. What I thunk when I posted that is that it's fun to note how many new gun threads are posted here each day. Why? Because - in case it's escaped your attention - I'm easily amused.
  2. You're probably already way ahead of this, but here's a news story explaining what occurred. http://www.zdnet.com/netseer-suffers-hack-triggers-google-malware-warnings-7000010776/
  3. It's standard legislative language to give the Federal government jurisdiction over the issue, by virtue of the Commerce Clause of the US Constitution. (Without specific federal jurisdiction (for one legal reason or another) over a given issue, only the states may legislate over said issue; Congress may not.)
  4. No. The example of Ron Paul, M.D. is more like saying that a particular lawyer - after 3 years of law school, including a summer internship in the DA's office, and spending decades of practicing mostly family and commercial law, including decades of client contact and counseling, all the while being continuously exposed to other lawyers and law journal articles on all aspects of the law ..... would still have far more understanding of a criminal defendant's constitutional rights, and sensible-versus-stupid trial strategy, than a social worker who counsels clients at a battered women's crisis center, despite the fact that he doesn't specialize in criminal defense law.
  5. ------------------------------------------------------- Why didnt you include condaleeza rice and colin powell too? Is it because they recently endorsed obama?

  7. I think you have a narrow view of the breadth and scope of Ron Paul's overall knowledge and experience.
  8. Big deal; what would Ron Paul, obviously a liberal Yankee, know about treatment of disorders or military service? Oh, wait:
  9. Hey, speaking of which, why isn't RonD in here calling me a godless Communist who will get mine on Judgment Day?
  10. Do you have some info about this woman's employment and/or social benefits status that DougH does not have?
  11. So who asked you to kill our buzz?
  12. Not yet, here. Firefox, that does not have ad-block (not my computer)
  13. You've been asked 3 times now, and obviously just refuse to answer: why are you afraid to tell us what your interest was in Cornell in particular, its website, and its shooting program? Some classified secret? Black ops? Just plain fear?
  14. That doesn't surprise me in the least. Damn. Beat me to it. You both suck.
  15. So it turns out that the PTSD-afflicted shooter, Eddie Lee Routh, a Marine veteran, had been deployed to Iraq. Now there are the blood of two more good men, and the destruction of three families, that are on Bush's hands. Bush, Cheney and the rest of their gang of chickenhawks are fucking war criminal; they should be prosecuted as co-defendants in these murders.
  16. Well, if they're owned by the US military, then they're all referred-to as "defense".
  17. I'm on a remote computer so I really can't watch the video right now, but I think I get the gist. Is there anything in the video that identifies the employment and/or social benefits status of that woman or her husband?
  18. Powered paragliders can be an excellent platform from which to loiter over veterans' funerals and shoot at gays with an assault weapon to protest abortion.
  19. I may be wrong about this, and I know very little about paragliding. I have a vague recollection of seeing a video, probably on YouTube, of a paraglider launching from a balloon, with his glider-canopy fully stowed in a bag attached (I think) to the gondola. Since his glider-canopy was not yet deployed or inflated when he launched, I suppose that technically qualifies as both a direct-bag skydive and a paraglider flight.
  20. Do you live near Cornell? Are you an alum? Do you teach there? Does your kid go there? Are you an Ed Marinaro groupie?
  21. It's a Negro shooting, so it doesn't count.
  22. Those aren't liberals; those are preppies. The majority of preppies I've known (believe me, I wasn't one of them) have been quite conservative.
