    Hey, that's a great book! It'll keep you up all night. Seriously, though, I use an over-the-counter antihistamine. In fact, that's what most of the the pharmaceutical (i.e., not the herbal stuff) over-the-counter sleep remedies sold in the US use as their active ingredient: an antihistamine. I recommend liquid, rather than tablet, so you can experiment with the right dosage, for your own body, that lets you sleep through the night without leaving you sleepy in the morning. When I use it, I take it about an hour before bedtime. Works for me.

How about women who marry men long enough to use them as sperm donors, and then WHAM it's alimony time. I heard that term used by a twice-divorced woman to describe her 2 exes, btw. Works both ways.

    If it helps, let me offer this: Rand Paul is truly a very weird guy. Seriously, he's odd. This isn't like the old days when personality oddballs like Nixon could keep that under the radar indefinitely. If Rand goes national, he'll creep out enough people that he'll eventually self-destruct.

    Thanks for the helpfully revealing write-up. I've been in and around criminal justice for 3 decades. I've lost track of how many defendants I've encountered who were smashed-up during - or after - their arrests, but every single one of them, without exception, was charged with assault on officer. Funny how that works.

    Much more of a pain in the ass when there's a huge center console... like in a HMMWV. Yes and no. It's rarely all that hard to reach over and take the wheel. Most of my practice is along those lines. It's a little strange to steer from the "wrong side" of the car, but with a little practice, it's no problem. You won't drive the car out of a bad situation with an incapacitated driver, but you will be able to control the car well enough to keep from driving into a tree or oncoming traffic if the driver has a heart attack. To manipulate the pedals, you either need a bench seat or help from the driver. A Jedi can do that with his mind. Bet you didn't know that.
