    ^This. Legality aside, as long as there is no student involved, it's all just adults engaging in assumption of risk. It always cracks me up when skydivers - Hello? We jump out of planes? - talk about someone else's skydiving stunt as too dangerous to themselves, but their own brand of skydiving is, well, "safe enough".. News item: the rest of the world thinks we're all nuts, and they're more or less right.

    John Mayer does a killer cover of Hendrix's "Voodoo Child". Suzannah Hofs and Matthew Sweet do a sweet cover of Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl". I think Crosby, Stills & Nash's cover of their good friend Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock" was better than her own performance of it. Bobby Troup both wrote and sang the iconic "Route 66", but Nat King Cole's cover of it is best. Clapton's signature "Crossroads"? Written by Robert Johnson in the 1930's.

    Its says more about the electorate I've always assumed she got in via some sort of affirmative action program for the illiterate. And yet check out the academic credentials in her bio. (B.A, J.D., LLM-tax, practiced tax law, etc..) What a disconnect! On paper, she seems to be no intellectual slouch. Ah, but then, look at what influenced her during law school: born again Christianity via Anal Roberts U. My conclusion: religion made her go mad, and now she's wack. And, as Shah might say, such a waste of a nice piece of ass. Ooh, that wasn't crude of me, was it?

    People (not necessarily you) in this position should consider whether they'll have enough assets in their estate to cover their funeral expenses, which are roughly $10,000-ish with casket (less w/cremation). If not, having at least enough life insurance to cover funeral expenses will avoid leaving your surviving relatives in a financial quandary.

Members of Congress ignore those numbers at their considerable electoral peril. (That would probably be even more the case if this was an even-numbered election year.)
