I guess I'm a fucking moron because I cant get this to work. Please help! I'm trying to figure out a monthly payment from a loan (java assignment) and cant get the equation to work. here is the equation I have: monthly payment = principal * (interest rate / 12) --------------------- 1 - (1 + (interest rate / 12)) but when I use this formula I keep getting the prinicpal in negative? I agree with Billy's last response 100% and it didnt get better the last weekend even with the beech...though the beech gave us 15K which was nice. Same slow ass loads though and I would have to think long and hard about going to the next one unless something was done about that. That being said I still had a good time, met a few good people, and jumped. Billy SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on? -
And I 100% agree with what you just said. Thanks for looking out for us......it just get tiring of hearing the same keyboard jumpers flaming everything they read. And yes there was actually some good advice on here and have been in other threads. You just have to search throught the shit. Thanks again for the post Mykel. I love this. Never in the original post was there a comment about (I'm better than everyone else, a great flyer, etc.) I simply read a jumper tried something new. WOW......imagine that, someone skydiving actually tried something they never did before and had the jump set up with no one below and the people jumping above completely aware of what the intention was and how they were going to compensate for it. (the jumpers that exited after that 3-way treated it like a group of belly flyers) Not saying it takes everything into consideration on the safety side, but it went great, will not be done again till proper training is taught.........and it was a good experience for all involved. nuff said............................flame away on safety, jump numbers, trying new things, etc. Oh, and lets not foget that if he ends up in the incident forum (as one mentioned), that we all stand up and make sure to say how much of a "safety concious" jumper he was and that he never pushed the envelope or did anything crazy or out of the norm. ............. New from the langar boogie. First...the jumps were a blast and had lots of fun. Crew got their 16 way in, POPs broke the record twice, and the weather was great. HOWEVER: This did not have the boogie feel nor manifesting of a boogie. It felt like it was a bigway meeting at a local DZ that people were invited to come and play if wanted. Loads took wwwwaaaayyyyy to long to get onto and the big ways were catered too. Not saying I didnt have a great time or that I wont be back next weekend....and hopefully next weekend will be better, but it def. wasnt a boogie. BUT WHAT A BLAST REGARDLESS!!!! Speaking of touching. It would be nice to do a three way....or hell, even a two way without having andy trying to get a FEEL in. Must be a british thing. I've always seen it in the pubs, didnt know it was just they way these guys were. Hmmm.....maybe I'm going to Emp with the wrong crowd. PLEASE WOMEN JUMPERS IN THE UK.....SAVE ME. My point exactly. Except when people that know these individuals that hooked it in front of everyone, you get the "I dont know what could have happened, they were such safe, conservative jumpers". Now I know this is a generalazation and doesnt include everyone that goes in (or even a majority). Its just, if these people were such safe/conservative jumpers, as they are being described....then why did they ever end up in the position that killed them?
