WOW! Lookie at what I missed when I was out playing. I am a little confused though, and I'm not british so I probably wont get flamed or a nasty PM from this. I've been on DZ.com for over a year now and have seen um, oh........TONS of 3 person inside joke threads and even more obnoxious people and sick fucking threads posted by the usual suspects with no interference from the greenies (hell, some even play) or the higher up. But this inocent enough and some what clean thread with multiple participants brought out not only a greenie (whoe seemed upset) but the Big cheese as well. Some one please explain. Your being very LOUD and OBNOXIOUS and I'm telling. Yep, I almos blew chunks TWICE at the Langar boogie. I did have the courtesy to just put my helmet in the proper "chunks out" position just in case....that also help keep the smell that Andy emitted out his ass from my nares. That explains why new buildings are being built to replace the ones we are in now. Damn things are falling apart........and now I know why. SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

And he is still going. Nice that someone else has the pic of you in the bathtub with scoop, and nice hat. Oh yeah, and the next time I bring your ass onto AMERICAN SOIL, you better pay your respects to the flag. That would be the one that is sitting higher than that limp thing on the next pole. Start a war andy, not like we have enough trouble as it is without having to come rescue your asses yet again. OK, I concede. The caravan doesnt actually have soul. But it does have a special place in my heart. I love that aircraft. Do we all agree on the AN-2 and C-130? SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

Same here. First time I jumped my pilot I rolled the nose twice and set it. The plan was to pitch at 5K so I could play around a little. NOT I pitched at 5K and just looked up amazed at the three center cells that were inflated....and started wondering, "is this fucker going to open". Hell, I didnt even look at my alti, just sat there looking up wondering. Then poof...open canopy. When I got my shit together and finally looked at my alti I was at 3K. I learned a few things that day. Keep altitude aware (First time ever lost that...and last so good wake up call), dont even touch the nose, and this fucker though giving nice comfy openings...is going to take a few feet to open. Love it though. :-P SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

My parents raise horses, therefore I grew up around them...riding/taking care of/etc. I agree completely with what Bobbi wrote. Buy a saddle that fits you comfy and dont go cheap on the blanket. With our horses, we use a throw, then a blanket on top, then the saddle. Other things you need to consider (other than feel) is what kind of riding you will be doing. And not just now, but in the near future. That being said, a "western saddle" is probably the best all round riding saddle there is. They are a bit bulky but do offer LOADS of "safety" features other saddles do not (and the horn is not one of them :-P ). Go to a saddle shop, sit on a few, and talk to the people there. Just pretend you are at the gear shop looking for that great freefly rig but dont want to spend 5000.00 dollars for it. The people at the shop generally take care of their own, and more than likely can get you a great used saddle. I third that. Dont even set it (push the nose in), just let it hang. SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

I should kick you in your broken ribs for that. Caravan has much soul. You just have to ride in one more than TWICE to feel it. Other than that......AN-2 and C-130 Cant get much more soul that those two. SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

Yep, I took the hornet 150 up this weekend (havent jumped it in a while) at a WL of 1:1 and took about 1050 for complete inflation (not including end cells). and I agree with you labrys, "I just deal with them". from pitch to open canopy.....my pilot takes 800 ft. and yes, I have watched my alit from pitch to open. When I roll and tuck the nose it takes right under 1000ft. Took awhile to get used to but I do love the comfy openings. This is also from a nice belly to earth. When I pitch out of a track or sit (I go to belly first) I dont give enough time for complete deceleration and the opening are (of course) a bit quicker (but no slammers) SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

K, guess I'm really stupid when it comes to this then because I still am not getting the correct answer. principal = 5000 interest rate = .075 term = 12 months The answer is actually 433.79 but I have no idea how to get this answer. Can some one "dumb" this up for me. The best part is after I figure this math out, I get to complete a "while loop" to run the complete program. Yay for me.
