For those of you that don't read the wind tunnel forum, just got back from bedford, and it was amazing. Soooo much fun, and have progressed hugely with my flying. Stable, on heading, turns, fall fall rate etc Sure it has helped hugely for AFF :) __________________ BOOM Headshot

Just got back, oh my god it was sooo fun. Got in tunnel at 2pm for 6 session (1min 15sec each), obviously after 1 AFF jump I flopped around like an idiot, just couldn't stop turning was bouncing off the net, really no control at all, guy holding me all the time. At 4pm had 4 sessions (2min 30sec each), first 5 minutes I was staying pretty stable and being released by instructors, by the last 5 minutes I was able to stay on heading, could turn with a reasonable amount of precision, could control fall rate, at one stage had instructor flying with me shaking his hand and laughing. Bodyflight in bedford kicks ass by the way, really helpful instructors, really nice building, great vibe etc etc. Damn it I can see how it can get addictive

Just so you know the answer you need either a splitter or a filtered face plate. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=862950080&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=11918 Splitter is easiest to fit, filtered face plate is best for signal, but harder to fit. __________________ BOOM Headshot

Don't really have a regular UK dz at the moment as I only have one jump at present, although that was at Hib, probably become a regular there, although I have a friend in newcastle thats doing AFF with me so probably be split between hib and her local one. __________________ BOOM Headshot

Pretty sure its gonna be TK Hayes as thats the guy who I have been talking to over email (plus their website has him down for teaching AFF on the relevant dates). Presume with your jump numbers you did some AFF there? What can you tell me about the place, equipment used planes flown etc etc. __________________ BOOM Headshot

You know that the shuffle doesn't just randomly play tracks and that you can just pick from a list right :P As for ipod forcing you to use Itunes thats just not true, look around the web for the alternatives. 5 weeks to go, damn what do you guys do to stave the excitement when your not jumping it seems like its been forever. Going to bedford for some tunnel time next week so hopefully that should help

I didn't read it like that at all. I read it as someone that loves the sport the way it is and doesn't want it to change. Not all growth is good. Is this sport safe, no, its as simple as that. How safe is this sport would be a much better question. __________________ BOOM Headshot

1st and only jump (so far) was in January Why not done more? Saving for AFF Next jump is in November flying to Florida to do AFF in Z-Hills (can't wait)
