    Friend of mine sent me a great animated gif, with a guy drinking a shot of flaming sambuca.... WITHOUT A STRAW. He missed with a a little bit, got it on his head, set his chin on fire spat the rest out (with firebreathing effect), and ran out the room.     You move less, see diagram, gravity will pull you towards the earths centre, the higher you are then your movement will be less on the ground. See my beautiful diagram for illustration

    (sorry for this in advance) So after jumping out of the plane this guy pulls his parachute and....... nothing. So he goes for the reserve......... nothing. Bounces pretty hard on the deck, ambulance comes manages to keep him alive. The day after the guy wakes up dazed and confused surrounded by equipment with a doctor stood close by.     Honestly if you could smell it, its more likely that he had it in his pocket (good weed you would smell through several layers of clothing), so I am told anyway How long depends on quality of weed, I would want at least 4-5 hours if its decent weed. Dunno about effects at altitude. How much time was there between the debrief and the actual jump? Could have had a joint to chill him out after the jump? Not that I would condone that as obviously it's not gonna be great for the debrief, but probably not against the rules of the DZ. __________________ BOOM Headshot

    Didn't know whether to start a new topic or steal this one I am travelling out to florida in november to zhills, everything sorted out with insurance, medical bills etc. Only thing troubling me is my friend who has diabetes, has checked and her insulin is not covered if lost or damaged. Could anyone give me a rough idea of the replacement cost if it gets lost or damaged. She uses 100mg humalog isulin (eli lilly branded but not sure thats relevant). __________________ BOOM Headshot

    Well spoke to the people at bodyflight which is due to open soon and got a very informative leaflet with prices. (thanks beverly) £84 (approx 140$) for 3 hours of training and 7.5 minutes tunnel time. You think this would be enough to give significant help during AFF?     Ok so i did AFF level 1 to raise some money for charity in January, unfortunately due to financial constraints I am having to wait till November till my next jump Booked to do all of AFF in Zhills However in the UK we have two VWTs set to open at the end of summer. Would it be worth getting some tunnel time before I fly out to the USA? How much tunnel time? Any idea of cost (or do I have to wait till bodyflight/skyventure announce?).
