    In fairness to Skydive Atlanta, haven't been to that one. There is enough distance from where I hail from that the Farm is MUCH closer. I love the Farm, great group of people that have fun before and after the Beer (yes that word should always be capitalized!) light comes on. Great Job Hans!

    Can't imagine what could have happened. Doesn't make any sense but doesn't matter. Cool head prevented bad things. Glad you are O.K. Check with the rigger next week as I'm sure he'll throughly check the rig and may have some idea.

    In your particular case the biggest reason not to jump isn't the medicine, but the reason you are taking it. If you want a violent decompression of you sinuses through whatever hole is most convienient (ear drum, nose, eyeball, etc.) go ahead. If sinuses are bothering you here is my recommendation. A steroid nose spray (like Nasonex) starting a few days before. A decongestant (like Sudafed) also starting a few days before. Make sure the Sudafed doesn't cause a problem. If it does try Clorcidin. If still bothered the day of take Afrin (for that day only) -- it is an over the counter nose spray for SHORT term use. Before going up try each nostril seperately, if they aren't both clear, be a spectator, it could save you a lot of greif.

    Dude that has got to be a joke. I've got almoast 50 jumps and am just starting to be able to land at the spot I choose on the DZ and flare for consistent standups. You are getting ready to start 180 hook turns. ARE YOU F@#%ING CRAZY!!! Stay the h#$@ away from my DZ, I flew out a dude with over 300 jumps who is WAY better than you. Please post that you were kidding so I'll feel better. Not the week to joke about that shit!

    Congrats. Don't know how close you are to Atlanta, but if close check out The Farm if funds are tight. Not to advertize or anything but they have a great deal and they are a great group to jump with. Good luck.

    Went to Atlanta for a weeks worth of Army duty. Figured while I was there I'd take the rig on a field trip. Jumped at the farm and met a GREAT group of folks. Never thought I'd feel at home so quickly away from my home DZ. Ya'll have a great operation and I look forward to other road trips in the future. I did learn one thing though, I SUCK at Texas Hold 'em!

    Go during the weeks. Been guiding more than hunting. No luck yet (they get so henned up here.) Had two gobblin' like mad Thurs. but wouldn't come to me. Later found they were across a creek I didn't see. Guy's first time so he was psyched just to hear the gobblin'

    Wrap it as tightly as possible with gauze. If it doesn't stop you may need to get it seen. Minor med if they are open in your area will be faster. If it stops, see the doc who put in the metal because exposed hardware will need to be seen about so it doesn't cause infection. Good luck!

    The U.S. Army has invited me to spend the week with them in Atlanta. I hate to spend such an important (hic) holiday solo. If any of ya'll are around it would be a great time to get to meet some of you.
