Looks good, Steve. I can see it now, this kid is going to get PS'd into every imagineable situation and be sent around the Internet for years to come. Maybe we ought to start some kind of "Scared Arnie" website and sell T-shirts, coffee mugs or sumpin. We could have a "Scared Arnie" monthly contest where folks send in "Scared Arnie" with him in a picture.

When I first watched it, I had the same thoughts...Then he gets up and starts swinging more... Three double fisted, straight in, end of baton strikes and he gets up and is still swinging. IMHO, those officers used a considerable amount of restraint in not using their guns.

Let's hear it for Sangiro! (Need tall reply numbers here!)

Having watched this place grow over the past couple of years, HH astounds me with his ability to add more features without creating a cumbersome environment. That is truly a gift. Me hat's off to ya, Lad. -
Sorry if its been done..

And for a 'throw-together" did a helluva job, I might add.

From my RW experience, judedre is giving you excellent advice. Really good Freeflyers learn about movement by learning good RW skills first, then migrate to FF'ing. You can do RW in a FF suit... in fact, back in the 80's that's what we wore, 'cept they were called silly suits. In the early 90's booties were attached to regular suits to provide additional drive with the legs extended. Once that became popular, RW suits were designed more efficiently and focused on RW needs. When FF'ing came along, sitflyers would buy skin tight shorts and wear shirts that were very baggy to help with the drag on top. Then baggy pants and a skin tight shirt were worn to do heads down. Over the past decade(ish), things migrated back to full baggy suits for FF'ers. From this RW (which I like to be called a horizontal flyer ), if you think your goal is FF'ing - get a FF suit. Just realize that you'll need more positive legs than those wearing an RW suit when driving to a formation and more emphasis on your turns while doing RW. Blue Skies

The following article, "Squeezing more value out of the IT budget" is enlightening. http://www.butlergroup.com/iej/oct03/pf_pcont_11.asp

Hey!! You guys heard the one about the Polish Skydiving Instructor.....?!?!?

I was under the impression that attorneys take the LSAT prior to being accepted to law school as an assessment of logic skills.

The politest "piss off" I have ever heard.

Dar Robinson did one also. He jumped from one plane to another (pointed down with a drogue) without a chute on.

Middle stows. Less line twists. I also stow my D-Bag straight up & down (Don't twist it so the lines are at the bottom of the container - the stowed lines are actually in the back of the pack tray.) Much cleaner deployments.

All good points. Hadn't thought outside the "Complete Rigs" box. Thanks

I agree. Most Airborne graduates show up for civilian training in their jump boots - frame of reference. In addition, I think it makes it difficult for them to feel their foot position on a skydive. Those couple that I've let do the skydive with their boots (too far a drive back to get tennis shoes) have the worst time with leg controls.

As suggested in the attached thread, someone wishing to submit a classified ad would have to complete a form that includes all S/Ns, condition, DOM, etc. A query of S/Ns against the missing/stolen database. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view&post=780853

I'm with you on that. If they're not willing to provide that info, then I won't waste my time with it. I think most of them just don't want to take the time to bust it open for S/Ns. Personally, I think a "Form" on the classifieds would be good that included all the info including S/Ns before one could submit the classified. A query could be done against the missing/stolen gear database and HH get a report of when the two match.

I think that conversation might go more like, "Bitch, you fix the sink. I'm not sticking my hands in that gunk, I just had a manicure. I'm busy hanging drapes right now."

128... kinda unfair though being a computer geek for almost ten years

Just please don't put the ziptie around your main lift web and reserve handle like the genious at a boogie a couple of years ago. Its kinda hard to get the reserve handle out. -
Close. Prefer nightjumps to day jumps. I "believe" I have the most nightjumps in Oklahoma. Last count 176. That's not counting the ones where I've been afeared and closed my eyes....

In some ancient cultures, rapists were forced to squat down exposing their testicles. One of the "Elders" would then take two large stones and smash the offender's testicles between the stones. Progress is not always a good thing.

Perhaps Roy can be the judge of that.

A true work of art. Reminds me of Picasso's "Femme."
