    Hey parts for a '92 are getting harder to find. (gee I wonder why?) An alternator was $675 so I rebuilt mine... Cost me 100 bucks in parts. I was hoping for something that would work off my OEM harness.

    He said NEED one and i agree if you dont know how to work out the aprox fuel ussage you're dumb. I can tell you within 5KM when my bikes will hit reserve. That's another thing, new bikes dont have a reserve, so dumbarses need gauges Well you would not be able to do it on my bike, if you rode enough and knew what the fuel consumption on an 1127cc carburated motor could vary by, you would realize that you can't be that accurate. I can easily calc in my head ETA, and fuel rates on traveling at normal speeds (under 100mph) duh... Why are people so quick to critisize the riding skills of someone they don't even know?

    None of the bikes I have ever owned have had fuel gauges. how dumb are you that you need one WTF?. There is never any shortage of internet commandos on this site, is there? Your fuel consumption changes with how and where you ride - track, mountains, high speed, low speed, passengers, etc. Not entirely necessary, sure. But it could be nice to have... exactly.... I was even thinking of installing tunes in my helmet for once. I usually rode wearing earplugs...got kinda noisy while just tooling down the road, like some retired old man

    Umm my bike is oil cooled and it would be nice not to cook the motor, I have been stuck in traffic before for 5 hrs. bumper to bumper on I-94/I-80 And your clutch hand just goes a bit numb...

    Not really Need but would LIKE one. I would like to do some longer trips. Like I said I can get great mileage or milage as bad as a small car.

    My gas mileage can vary quite a bit. I have over 21k miles on this one after being off it for five years total, due to some injuries. (hard to ride with a leg brace) I have hit the reserve while traveling at a high rate and it was not a welcome feeling. At normal speeds I don't care about fuel rates. All I ever had originally was a light that indicated you ran out and need reserve.

    Hey I would like to know, my bike can guzzle fuel and riding style can make a huge difference. As for anyone thinking I am dumb, go ahead you must have far more experience riding than I do. In other words I kind of doubt it. You may have more jumps but I have been riding for a long time. 30+years now.

    I am ordering plugs, wires and air filter this week. Still runs rough, may have to yank the carbs. I am gonna call Alex Fornarelli.

    I have been trying to find an aftermarket cluster that will work on my 1992 GSXR1100, my tach and speedo work great but I need a set of gauges for: Oil Pressure/Temp Fuel Turn Indicators? Neutral Indicator anything else would be a plus. I hope someone knows where to look or a manufacturer I have checked dennis kirk, jcwhitney, JP, and a few others. I looked on Ebay as well. My originals suck ass and are failing, I have a new wiring harness for the bike but need the gauges. Actual links to the items would be appreciated

    remove and replace the pipes going all the way to the stack. Yeah it's drastic but PVC is cheap

    Hillary swank is hot, and I won't be throwing stones either. Very few people here have actually met me, and I am not pretty by far. To say a woman is ugly when she is at least average in her facial looks is like saying you are better than everyone else. Of course some people really do think they are better than everyone else.

    John I am concerned that if someone does go and gets kidnapped, and has made statements about the rest of his "ignorant, intolerant, and domineering assholes" that there may well be no rescue attempt. You would not catch me going to Afghanistan without being fully armed. flame away, but obviously if someone is bent on going there is no reason to stop them. Only a caution that they may receive no effort from his country or any other in case he is abducted. I feel these things are worthy of serious consideration. People always are thinking "it will never happen to me" and in their efforts to do as they wish they may well have caused the deaths of anyone who would come to their aid those people die too.
