  1. Hey don't be, I am really doing well. I may have many injuries but I cannot complain really. It's just that as I age it won't be so good. I can do most things still. I feel bad for the guys that are not ambulatory or have gone blind. Just a visit at the VA hospital can remind all of us how good we have it.
  2. http://www4.va.gov/healtheligibility/eligibility/PriorityGroupsAll.asp I am at 80% with several things not even rated yet due to their bureaucrats and bullshit.
  3. That non slip thing for the dash works great.
  4. It really is perfectly alright for someone to not want to take the personal risk of skydiving. Yep don't push or coerce someone into it.
  5. Alfred Hitchcock movies are still great. I also liked seeing http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048667/usercomments Gen. Stewart was the real deal He even flew in B-52 sorties in order to revenge the death of his adopted son. Also IIRC he post-war expressly forbade film companies to use his war-time records in promotions of his films. He flew several ARC-Light missions.
  6. I said some, I know they are in a bind for money, congress acts like this is less important than pork barrel legislation. If we rid our government of all wasted funds and fraud we would not be in this predicament. My docs are from Loyola, I have been lucky enough to get the chiefs of clinic in many cases. It does help that I am a priority group 1 Veteran. There are times though that I am more than willing to step aside and insist that they treat someone else first.
  7. You say that like if it's a bad thing... Yeah no kidding, there is a time and place for everything.
  8. Yep I had heard it a few years ago. He was a grade A bunghole. Archetype for future bungholes in office
  9. Yet there are many people today that invoke his words in order to support racism against the whites. We have many so called community leaders that do nothing but shit upon the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King. He also showed us that even a flawed man is capable of a greater good.
  10. YOU need to stop drinking and posting! I haven't watched any games but I can say I have read the stats. The bears will not be losing to Green Bay They may even win the Superbowl because the other team sucks so bad.
  11. I also loved the recolored version of Lawrence of Arabia. There are a lot of old Hollywood classics that still are great movies, they did not have special effects so the story had to be great.
  12. Hell yeah. I like "Patton" on BluRay too. Classic tale of an amazing person. The Longest Day, still a great movie as is Tora, Tora, Tora. The Longest Day was weird to see as a kid, my dad's friend went with us, he was the kid that actually landed in the German Generals garden, then stabbed him to death. He liked the movie, he said it was not as good to have been there.
  13. This time of year? Belize, FL, or AZ Just make sure you have work before you go. It is not a good feeling to piss through all your money and worry every night while you try to sleep with your stomach wishing it had eaten.
  14. Pick-pocket in progress... Nope but the girl then knew by slapping his wallet what credit cards he had, the limits, the number of paper bills in his pocket and the denominations, also if there was a large condom in there. Otherwise known in gold diggers circles as "trade craft"
  15. Coincidence? Green Bay may have been involved in Pearl Harbor? Hmmm maybe they diagrammed the attack...
  16. There is a difference between playful, easy and just wanting to because they feel close. Do not make the mistake of thinking that if a woman CHOOSES to want sex sooner than you have heard is appropriate, that means nothing other than she wanted to. It does not mean she is easy, a skank, or anything other than that. Some women actually know what they want, and may have higher morals than you would believe. They also could choose to have sex because they want to show they care and are affectionate.
  17. Well . . . DUH. I'm at the other end of that spectrum. Or are you on the other end of the speculum?
  18. I doubt that unless he is blind and illiterate as well. The link posted made it quite clear that it was in fact Maj. Dick Winters 101st ABN (ret.)
  19. In honor of Andy Copland. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If9fC9aJd-U The pikey bastard!
  20. I hope everything turns out good. Yeah I know not every surgery is without danger, but if he is that young and strong willed, he has a great chance of being better after it is done and he is rehabilitated.
  21. A second opinion is always good, however just because it is VA docs, it does not mean that he did not get a good or even great doctor. Some of those docs are the best money can buy, I have two that are world renowned, researchers as well as MD's. It is a matter of who you get and whether or not they can actually help you, there is not a financial incentive so I can count on them not doing something just because it costs a lot.
