As what, chamber maids?

Tell Marty to eat it and STFU... J/K, but it is better than just having a hottie wife, you cook too!

Why are there 50 stars on the national flag? Quote Because a bunch of rag tag colonials defeated the largest, toughest and most disciplined army and navy that existed in the world at that time. We beat the living shit out of your kings men. (I mean that literally, since my ancestors came here with Von Steuben)

Yes, it is. It is a stupid sitcom/reality TV show from Scandanavia

Gee... My great grandmother on my mothers side was Seminole and I have never nor has anyone in our family ever seen fit to register as such even after it became rather shiek to do so. The Old South has a real bad habit of quantifying anyone not totally lilly white as a racial minority. Think about all the fun names there are for any of the people of mixed race of black and white...quadroon, octoroon and, more rarely, quintroon and hexadecaroon. The one drop rule is alive and well in some places. What is really funny is that America is pretty much a nation of mutts....it is what makes us different than most of the countires of the world( even though a lot of them are mutts too based on who conqured who in the last 5000 years). Most of the white supremeacists usually forget that fact.. .... and many have some people in their family trees that make them part of what they loathe so much. No wonder I love BBQ!

Today a man like that would be an outcast, and vilified by his own party. Too bad there aren't more like him, I guess sound bites are more lucrative politcally.

Likewise it will be a good thing when cops stop using lethal force because they are scared, and have not been assaulted.

The whole situation could have been avoided of this woman showed some sense in the beginning.Quote That would be true of the Woman and the officer as well. Violence or a threat of violence is a last resort. If an officer thinks someone may become violent, a threat of violence against that person will make it a reality. As soon as anyone threatens, the reaction they wanted to avoid(if the cop wanted to avoid violence) will occur. Some people are highly trained, and do not take lightly to being subjected to physical violence. A case in point is that a long time ago my own uncle was a detective working for a local city. They had served a warrant, and as a precaution they put the suspects husband in the paddy wagon.(very large man) The woman was being charged with passing bad checks. The woman was being cuffed and started complaining that she was not guilty, and that the bank had made a gross mistake. When the officer cuffing her pushed her face first into the pavement. (in order to subdue her, although she was not physically resisting) her hubby tore the doors off of the paddy wagon, got out and beat the living shit out of three cops before he was shot in the abdomen. The hubby then removed the weapon from the cops hands and threw it into the bushes. My uncle successfully got the guy to stop by merely saying that what the cop did was wrong, and would be dealt with severly. The guy unfortunately died in the hospital from infection. The woman charged was found not guilty, and in fact the bank had mistakenly trasferred the funds from her account to the wrong persons account. Total three cops hospitalized, one innocent man dead, and a woman with her face fucked up over nothing. This occured in the late 1960s

Please say a thought or prayer for my Grandma.
warpedskydiver replied to Conundrum's topic in The Bonfire
I am sorry about your Grandma, and hope that her suffering will end in her sleep. I wish I had some wise words for you but I do not. Maybe just call her and speak with her, that might mean the world to her. -
Apparently on another website, one of the members is a local to this area and got this info fro the news: "She was in the middle of the buy when she got the info about her kid; the sale had occurred and all she had to do was sign for it. She was upset about the call and walked out of the BB to talk more in private and away from the noise inside. The BB employee thinks its suspicious and notifes police. Officer shows up, customer comes back in to close deal and the rest is on fim. they hadn't asked her to leave and the card wasn't flagged. Just suspicious behavior from employee's perspective."

That is sad, another family grieving for their loss on what was supposed to be a joyous holiday. It makes no sense.

Wow thank you! Even the vet who rejected the last horse we wanted to purchase said that he himself would buy this horse. He is 84years old and has been a vet since 23yrs old. He said it is rare for him to feel that way about a horse anymore, the horse seemed to not even notice the very thorough exam.
