I deleted in order to avoid a pissing match. I was speaking about a bike, not a car. 325hp on a bike, is like having a formula one car.

More like a small striplike welcome mat!!!!

I find Nascar to be very boring. If I had a mere extra 3k dollars I would be able to totally out accelerate and outrun at any NASCAR vehicle at top end. All for a total cost of less than 12k dollars. I would love to do some laps at Talladega and watch people jaws drop at the speed. I would estimate I would easily top out at 230mph.

If you and John actually met, you would find that you both have alot in common, can get along, and actually might be friends.
-
You??? I know, hard to imagine me not all smiles and friendly huh?

I can take extreme amounts of pain and go on, it just makes me be kinda angry, and mean. I had to walk on a crushed foot for two days. (never removed my boot) Walked 3 miles with a severely torn MCL/PCL. Sometimes I wonder if there is something wrong with me, or if I am just a whiner.

since 1983 I have all my bloodwork done every three months and have all checks done as a precaution.

That would have worked if my ex was not a bipolar whacko. After being gone for four years she called one night asking how to chamber a round and make sure the safety was off on her pistol, so she could shoot her BF in the head as he slept. (she was drunk again) Whew!!!

I have always wondered this, when is it time? I can walk, run a few steps, but in general am in constant pain in both knees. I can take 200mg of tramadol, and 1000mg of ibuprofen, and it is still there, but to a lesser degree. It hurts to crouch/squat, or god forbid, kneel. I am looking for real answers and not just comments. I can go to the VA, but getting into the ortho clinic is a real challenge, they are overloaded, and in general do not want to see any patients that can still walk. I don't ever want to use my wheelchair again.

Here is what he is doing in his retirement, a much slower pace too! 9/30/07- "Mad" Mark Krupa @ Union Grove, WI Chicago Wise Guys Mark takes the win driving the Dean Cameron owned and tuned DRC Firebird Mark says low 7s are much more relaxing of a sunday drive than the low 5s were. He just hung up, and washed up for dinner.
-
The year he retired he rolled his rail seven times before hitting the pavement. His rear right tire blew as it got really tall. The video showed a bottle cap on the track.
-
The guy has damage to his neck from launching so hard He once held the worlds record for a 60ft time. For almost a year.
-
Sounds about right, and a far cry from the 11.285mph that Quade calculated. My friend Mark said add 150mph to that 36mph, in the same distance (96ft) then your talking!
-
I agree with your statement, however I know the velocity would not be a constant at all, and might be highly improbable to calculate. I have an old friend, Mark Krupa who used to be a TF racer, until he installed the device accelerometer and an ET computer he never established the correct data.
-
He drives a GTO Let's just face it, sometimes calculation is what is needed, and sometimes real measurements are absolutley neccessary.
-
Since the distance he is traveling is pretty short, I would tape the distance, use the accelerometer, and a timer to stop the ET
-
That's why I said unfortunatley, velocity for him would not be a constant, and actually is would be a somewhat spiral curve(but not exactly), instead of a straight line. We could all calculate this to death and be very wrong, or measure it with the means I suggested, and get the actual answer.
-
I see what you did as a calculation, but if you use the method I stated in actually measureing this, you would find that the car would be traveling faster than that in 96 feet. From the start you have a faster rate of acceleration which tapers off as the car shifts out of first gear, and actually flattens out as the car increases in speed.
-
If the speed is constant, then you would do this: T/R=D Unfortunately you need to calculate utilizing beginning and end velocities. So a value for R would need to be established, and that is a variable rate. Get an accelerometer to use, a GPS, and a really good stopwatch/timer
-
D*R=T rearrange that to suit your needs.

If there is ice forming on the bottom, check the drainage tube it may be clogged. Also vacuum the underside and cooling tubes, lint will reduce the amount of transfer.

Hey the ladies need lovin too! It's just like owning a Deli, sometimes you gotta make em happy by giving them some extra meat.
-
The dog is just waiting for him to put on some weight. Sure dogs love a good bone, but only after savoring all the red meat.

Heck and here I was going to try and be helpful and tell her to travel thecountry to as many DZ's as she can and get GB'd as much as she can. It will help dull the memory of her painful divorce.

I got my jeep like that, only I did it manually, and without bidding until 2 seconds left.
