I have another suggestion. Why don't the people who get so much fun out of these forums at HH's expence I might add, kill two birds with one stone. We have used this facility to the point of breaking it and as a result it's usefulness is starting to rapidly degrade. The crux of the matter is that all of us (myself included) have been making use of and giving abuse to a really valuable and FREE resource. There are just too many people here now. Maybe it is time to start paying up. In the process we trim the numbers down a bit and people will be a little more circumspect in what they post. We will also help the man in red out a bit. Face it...we owe him. I suggest an annual subscription fee to these forums. Read for free but if you want to post then pay up. Lets say about 25$ per year. That is about the price of a jump, some beer and a few condoms. Surely less than the price of a day at the DZ and well worth it IMHO.

Flemish is very similar to Afrikaans. Cape flats 'Afrikaans' has its roots in the South African prison system. I work with a lot of ex cons.

Ummm Mr Tolkien was born in....(Insert drum roll please)..... Bloemfontein....South Africa I must say that Newton springs to mind as one of the all time giants. Quite an amazing man. BTW who was the Scottish dude who invented the steam turbine. There is a really amusing story attached to that.
