    there will be doctors who will perform this whether it is legal or not. in any case, you can fill a court room with doctors to support either side of things. this law just doesn't sound so stupid to me. i guess the whole dabate is where to draw the line. some people believe that you shouldn't even stop the sperm from fertalizing the egg. others believe you should be able to kill babies as long as they haven't fully left from the vagina. that includes allowing the baby to be held partially in the vagina while it is killed. i personnally believe that a fetus is a parasite in the mother's body. i feel that it crosses the line from parasite to human when ther fetus reaches viability. i am pro choice and in some cases pro abortion. even my beliefs leave a lot of gray area. when exactly does it become vaible? what is viability? i don't think this debate will ever be solved. where exactly would you draw the line and why?     the government isn't being insterted between a doctor and a patient. if a doctor says that the patient's life or health is in danger, they can do whatever they want. what is happenning is that the government is saying that if you want to abort, get your shit together and get it done while the baby is still a parasite and not viable. one problem with our country is that we've become so entrenched in our beliefs that concieding even the tiniest bit to the other side is seen not as a compromise, but a loss.     if you are going to carry a gun, you better know the laws of the area you will be carrying and it would serve you well to study previous cases of self-defense shooting. if you are in a situation you don't have time to contemplate whether or not to shoot. you need to make a split second decision. i choose not to carry because i fear that i would hesitate while trying to weigh my options and guess what a jury would decide about my fate. that hesitation could get me killed. i would like to have a gun available in my home, but i have two small children so all of my guns have locks on them and the ammo isn't stored near them.     at one time while watching the coverage, the report was that they had a shooter in custody. along with this report, was a picture of an asian man on his stomach with a cop on top of him putting on handcuffs. this was the report for at least a half hour and at the time it was unclear how many shooters there were. i ran some errands and was surprised when i returned home to find that the shooter had shot himself. it didn't really bother me until the next day when it was released that the shooter was asian. what the hell is going on? i haven't heard anything about this. did anyone else see what i saw? was i hallucinating?     I think it's because her targets are typically part of "the power structure" - NRA, Trump, the military, the government. These targets are fair game in the eyes of those who are easily offended. What stirs up all the righteous indignation in this country is when someone in "the power structure" demeans anyone linked to the supposed "underclass". Apparently, it's taboo to criticize anyone in the "underclass", no matter how bad their behavior. Is it a double standard? Absolutely. Political correctness is alive and well in 2007. this may be possible too, but i'm more inclined to believe that the heads of major corporations are much more concerned about money than politics or principle. the view is a huge market compaired to imus therefore they can afford to drop imus. the whole thing was blown way out of proportion though.     i'm not angry, i was just thinking about this and decided to pose the question here. you are right, it is the owners, but they are businessmen. it makes good business sense to get someone else to pay for their building. the cities should tell them to pay for it themselves, but i realize that is a fantasy. every city in the country would have to agree to this tactic and that just won't happen.     that's not the point. just because someone enters a career field that has such limitations does not entitle them to earn. the fact that the money is there is what entitles them to earn. they should be the ones footing the bill to the stage they use to entertain us unless it can be shown that it is a net positive for the city to have them there.
