Like the theory behind the double chevron Scott, good idea. Will be interested to see how it turns out. Have fun guys, wish I could be there, see you in the spring! J BASEstore.it

In the case I witnessed the canopy flight characteristics were severely affected. The tail of the canopy was very distorted, flying almost like a round, little drive, quite fast sink rate and oscillating. Maestro just managed to out fly the talus and PLF on to open ground. If he had pulled any earlier things would have been ugly... BASEstore.it

Agreed. Velcro in good condition *should* be fine BUT life is precious so why not use the better alternative.. BASEstore.it

Back off holiday! You can email us if you think there is a problem with your suit. Here is a photo of my V2 inlets. I notice in your photos you are leaning forward/ rolling your shoulders in an unnatural position (?) Would be good if you re-took the photo standing as you were with the Phantom on. *BUMP* There have been a couple more cases of this "weird mal" recently (maybe we should actually give it a name now?) Maestro from Mucho BASE had the same mal last month and I heard Mike 915 recently also. "Tail pocket entanglement" ? BASEstore.it

Do not forget that body position of the jumper still remains fundamental to on heading canopy / jumper. If your shoulders are off you can cause the canopy to rotate prior to bottom skin expansion (or also through bad packing, Murphys law) or alternatively you will rotate around one riser into line twists after bottom skin expansion. Personally I have observed more cases of line twists with WS openings than normal jumping. Pulling low is easy, just do nothing for longer... Allowing time to deal with OH, twists or a jammed zip could be prudent. BASEstore.it

Current leads times: V2 is 12-14 weeks due to high demand but we are working to reduce this. Acro, Phantom and Prodigy 4 weeks, US needs an extra week at least for shipping. PM or email me with specific questions. J (It is coming Gus! ) BASEstore.it

I'm sorry Scott, what you posted is NOT TRUE. This is the exact reason WHY I KEEP CORRECTING THE WIKIPEDIA. Let us resolve something once and for all. From Robert Pecnik: "The first suit was designed and made by me in October 1998 (yes, it was based on a small picture of Patrick) and I made about 10 jumps with it in the beginning of November of 1998. This was about 6 months before any of the people Scott mentioned in his post even saw the suit. (with the exeption of Stane Krajnc, as the wings were made at his factory). The design, template preparation and technological chart for every wingsuit produced by BM between 1998 until 2004 were made by me. I am not interested in starting arguments, or proving anything here but I felt I needed to say something before this incorrect story becomes the "history" people believe. Regards, Robert Pecnik" BASEstore.it -

Just got back home. I went for the Phantom as the glide distance was not a factor. The complete results will be posted on the Skydive Marl website soon
