  1. Well regardless how you spell it, there aren´t any STROOPWAFELS BUT there is a fridge full of tasty German beer Cloudy today but we managed to fly in the holes. 2 rounds completed and things are close, all to play for in the third and final round. Rod has set the best time so far of 58,7sec (between 3000m-2000m, measured using Alti-2 Neptune and Paralog). This evening there was a "social" drag race meet at the airport
  2. I arrived in Marl, super friendly DZ. I had barely got in the door when they forced a plate of steak and a cold beer at me
  3. Hi, I am trying to get in touch with the person posting on the wingsuit wiki with the IP address: 216.177.120.72 Location comes out as US, host name 72.dynamic.para-concepts.com Thanks for your help. 4. The price is different either side of the Atlantic...? The same can be said for pretty much every other consumer item available be it a car, PC or ZP dress Exchange rates also vary all the time... BASEstore.it

  8. ITALIAN SUB TERMINAL WALL TEMPORARILY CLOSED The Italian locals ask for all visiting jumpers to not jump the I.S.T.W.(the E on the lake) at the moment. There is a building site where the LZ used to be and it seems the builders are REALLY UN-HAPPY with the jumpers landing on the site. They are considering steps to stop us jumping. The site is fragile and does NOT have the "legal" status of the ITW. Thank you for your understanding, once we have more information we will post it here. Mucho BASE The Italian locals BASEstore.it

  14. It has already happened. Luckily the PC came out the pouch. There has been more than one case of velcro rigs causing prematures with ws. IMO spend the $ and get a pin rig. The high speed reletive wind travelling over your back makes a velcro rig unsuitable. J BASEstore.it
  15. I started to notice the disorder in formations usually begins after the 3rd row (tongue in cheek "the 3rd row rule" ) I'm sure we will get past this with more practice and experience.... or maybe we just need 9 Scott Bland clones BASEstore.it
  16. o o o o o o o o o It will be all good, till you get past the third row Good luck guys let us know how it goes! (VIDEO! PHOTOS!) BASEstore.it
  17. The wingsuit weekend at Molinella went very well. The weather was awesome if not a little _hot_! Not the best weather to be wearing a ZP suit But we survived by swimming in the DZ pool between loads. It seemed a little strange squeezing 10 wingsuits into a Porter after the luxury of last weeks An72 in Germany! The initial jumps were a little dispersed but by the Sunday afternoon the group was flying in a steady 9 way formation The flocks were without doubt some of the best flown to date in Italy (where the wingsuit discipline is still young). Thank you to the www.flygang.com for being such excellent hosts and of course to all the participants: Fido, Giulio, Chiller, Marco, Claudio, Tom, Gianni, Thomas, Sandro, Roberto, Goran and Daniele. To finish the event off we made a couple of smoke jumps and a wingsuit rodeo
  18. Quote (and the Macca golden-shower sequence©) get lost in editing somewhere??Quote I'd forgotten about that one! cooooool BASEstore.it
  19. I counted at least 2 frames with the formation in the background, you can just make it out behind the 2 huge nostrils - it'll be in the video
  20. Giulio watched back the video on slow mo and counts 69 also. BASEstore.it
  21. A 69 way ain't so bad I just phoned Giulio, he will check his video now. BASEstore.it
  22. I arrived at the DZ at 1 a.m. on Thursday morning, tired after a hiking trip, thinking I would just collapse into my tent... oh how wrong I was, the bar was full of familiar faces and the beer started flowing The event got better from there! More wingsuit pilots gathered in one place than EVER BEFORE!!
